Good Easter Sunday Morning, Everyone,

We were up 15 minutes early because we are moving Rusty's shot time up to get ready for the opera tomorrow evening. We were supposed to go to NYC today, but the cellar and the 2 fur shots I gave yesterday prompted us to reconsider! We'll go tomorrow for sure.
Rusty is good this morning. He wanted us up even earlier (it was dark; I think he wanted more food, but he was encouraged to go back to sleep). Good test this morning, and the AMPS 191 indicates that it was indeed a fur shot last night (I even smelled it on his fur at bedtime!). GOOD SHOT--not a fur shot!! Breakfast required 3 sittings this morning. The happy cat had a good play with Big Bug, his scratcher, Red Ears, and even "Pink Ears" (the Kitty Hootch mouse that Rusty is finally getting interested in). It's not raining and it's not supposed to rain today, so later, when it warms up, Rusty will get to go outside.

We are thinking of all our sick kitties today.

Good Morning: Rusty is such a loveable cooperative kitty I'm sure he will come down to Rusty numbers soon. Hope your weather stays dry and the basement cooperates. Safe trip tomorrow.

I'm glad to tsee that things are looking up. I envy you the opera tomorrow night. Is Rusty going to try to sing again? :lol:

Yay for a good shot this morning Ella. He sounds like on furry, purry kitty this morning.

Happy Easter Sunday,Ella. Yay for good shot today. Rusty may be a bit higher than ususal, but blue is still good :smile: He'll be back down before you know it.

Stinks that the celler is still wet. That sounds like back breaking work, to get it cleaned up.

I hope your day is sunny and wonderful, and somewhat warmer. :-D

Hi Ella and Happy Easter! You have a buddy with the fur shots. I must have done another one this morning, as Maggie is going the wrong way! Sorry about your cellar. Monday night sounds fun.

Hi again,
I think we managed to get through the day without a fur shot!! Rusty enjoyed some outdoors time this afternoon. His color is such that he completely blends in with the foliage at this time of year, so we have to really watch him to keep from losing sight of him. (The birds don't seem to have any problem, however!) He will be completely absorbed in something for a few minutes and then come running over to us to greet us with head butts. It is wonderful to experience.
Rusty has just had his earlier dinner and shot and is in his basket. Tomorrow morning we have to get up even earlier to get the shot and feeding schedule set for tomorrow evening's opera (Wagner's Die Walküre is over 5 hours long and therefore begins at 6:30 P.M.)

The water in the cellar is gradually going down. Fingers crossed!!
