Happy Old Timers day!!

WCR: Climbed up in bed with me after his sleep test last night, but didn't stay to long, just long enough to get some love and then off he went. Alarm is set for 6:10 a.m. (a bit of sleeping in today)but Spot had other plans and around 5:30 decided it was time for those sweet kitty kisses. He hasn't done this in a while...well for about two weeks. At that time I noticed his breath smelled, so he vet to vets and got some AB's. Well, during my kissing session, I smelled his breath again. Vet told me at our last visit that Spot just may be one of those kitties who is destined to have teeth and breath problems. Since he just had a dental in February, I tend to agree. So, I guess next dental he may have all his teeth removed.
Spot was sooooo furry and purry for his test this morning, and even after he got his treat, he stayed in my lap for about another minute for love. He is now sitting with me, on the arm of the chair, just purring up a storm. He seems so content this morning, just hanging with me. No bath yet, and no LBA yet, but that should be coming soon.

Well, it's Caturday, no "paid" work day, so that can only mean one thing at 6:05 a.m.......IT'S BTB day for Bean!!!! Yea!!!! Two weekends in a row, I have both days off. How wonderful is that!! So, I am hoping that all our LL friends have a wonderful day today. Spot will be seeing all his friends at the "emergency" party being held by Pat, Shadow, and Raja...so all you kitties, have fun with the niptinis and tunaritas and enjoy all your talk how nice you hear it is at the falls (and to those who are there, how nice it is) so Spot will miss it even more and get on that path that takes you there!!

Morning Deb and Spot, hope you are enjoying your btb Deb! What a nice number this morning for Spot and soo awesome that he was being all purry and cuddly! Love it! We will see you at the party tonight then! Hope your Caturday goes well and Spot stays green all day!!!

I was so sorry that Spot fell off the wagon; but so glad to see how well he is doing with good numbers and feeling happy. Sending best wishes for a speedy return trip to the Falls.
 
by any chance do you brush his teeth? It may help with the breath issue and of course keeping the teeth clean and hopefully in his mouth.

Thanks everyone...I had a wonderful btb'ing this morning. Stayed in bed until 10:15 a.m. woke up with all furrys except Spot in bed with me. But he did hop on up there when I went btb, jumped down to find his LB, and then probably went to sleep on "his" chair in the dining room.

Nice to see the green trend continue...and the purries continue too...He came for his test when I got up, ate his snack, and came back tos ee me and is now sitting on with me, chillain on the arm of the chair. It is a good Caturday!

Gotta go shopping for a new pair of zippy pants for the party tonight. Spot wants new clothes for the party!

Hillary, the vet gave me something called Glen/Haven T/G gel. I used it a few days and noticed that Spot's numbers were going up. I checked the ingredients and one of them is clove and cinnamon flavoring. I'm not sure if that has any sugars in them, so I discontinued using it. I would like to see a few more green preshots before I try it again.

It just amazes me how our kittys can tell time. Spot usually gets one of his afternoon snacks between 12 and 1... I went to check on him (he's in his fav spot outside) and he was ready to come in for his snack. And once again, he is now hanging out with me on the chair, which makes it almost impossible to get up and do anything around here! Oh well, Caturdays are for Cats!

That's funny, Deb -- as if there is anything else worth doing besides petting the kitty! :lol:

I'm curious about the tooth brushing. I don't think Kitty will let me, but it would be nice to try.

Very very nice, I must say! I wasn't sure what I would see at this test since I tried that Glen/Haven T/G gel for Spot's teeth tonight. Last time I tried it his numbers went a tad higher...and I wasn't sure if it was the infection in his mouth or the gel. Looks like it was the infection. So, hopefully, this stuff will help with his breath!!

Spot had a wonderful time at the party tonight! He just got in, that's why his test was an hour late. He said that he can't wait until the next party!! So many kitties singing and dancing the chacha that Sara taught them all to the music that Kitty brought, and just enjoying life. He said he had some QT time with Ms. Moonie who looked so glamorous in her purple outfit. He said the pizza Stu brought was so tasty that he had to stop himself from eating to much..he's on a diet you know!! Spot talked to Scrabble and has decided that he may want to get one of those spiffy t-shirts to match some of his zippy pants!! He really enjoyed his talks with Latte, Logan, Bear Man and Teddy, Tugger, Nova, Putty, and Jerry and all the other Lantus Land kitties who showed up!!! Thanks so much to Shadow and Raja for being such good party givers!!

Now it's time for us all to go nini...Spot is worn out and is waiting for me to get up and go to bed so he can have his snack...goodness knows that with all that party food he still has room for his snack, lol!!
