Happy Easter, everyone!!! I'm finally home to start Champ's condo for the day.

I woke up this morning at 4-ish with a very upset stomach and vomiting. Lovely!! Champ must have known I wasn't feeling well cuz he gave me a nice yellow number to start this fine Easter morning :-D Before I left the house, I checked his +3, an excellent number for him, and then put out three bowls with 0.5 oz. of food in them scattered around the kitchen. Well, I needn't have worried...apparently, when no one is home, he just sleeps the day away :lol: When I got home, one bowl had been eaten and one had been tasted. I checked his BG again at +7.75 and STILL a good number. :-D :-D

I hope everyone is having a relaxing day with family and friends!!

Oh how I would love to have a day surfing the blues, but at least we've had a completely yellow day today!!! That's only happened one other time. Let's see if we can do this until bedtime! :-D

Patty, I'm glad you and Champ had such a good day. Gus had an OK day. Still slamming him with the extra insulin. But he did well today. I actually love Champ's #s today!!

Bev, I was thinking the same thing about Champ's numbers. It's been such a nice flat curve...in the yellows, yes, but still nice and flat. I'm going to keep increasing his dose by 0.25 every three days and hope that he keeps this kind of curve, but with lower numbers. I'm not betting on it, of course. We are talking about Champ after all :lol: :lol: :lol: But one can always hope!

I love the fact Gus is seeing some low numbers, even if it is with R. I hope he continues to improve day by day.

I know your Easter hasn't been the most relaxing, but I hope you've been able to have a bit of a rest. :-D
