Yesterday was a weird day as far as numbers. She went down slightly at +3, then shot way up and stayed there the rest of the cycle and at PMPS. I don't think I've seen that happen with Buzz on Lantus yet. There's always something to keep things exciting, isn't there? :lol:

WCR: Buzz is per usual today. I can really tell when her numbers are higher vs. lower because I see a lot more of her when she's lower. I guess maybe she feels icky when her numbers are high and she wants to be left alone?

Just realized this didn't bump since I edited, not replied.

+12 was 49
will test in 15 minutes, which will be +12.5. If still rising, should I shoot or wait longer?

I like to wait until at least 60 to shoot. You've shot 80's before, so it should be ok to shoot over about 65. Buzz earned a dosecrease, so I would go ahead and reduce, probably to skinny 0.5 since you've been doing sneakcreases.

haven't fed yet, will wait 30 minutes from now to test again since we are looking for a 60. Sound ok?

Libby (or anyone else who wants to chime in), you do think I should do a dose reduction, even though Buzz normally gets 2 below 50 before getting a reduction? I have no problem doing it, I just want to make sure she's ready (as much as we can know, anyway) because it's taken her so long to get back on track from the infection and working through her bounces.

it's up to you, in my mind 40 counts as a reduction, as does anything that makes you stall a PS.

And I meant skinny 0.75 or fat 0.5, not skinny 0.5. It's late, brain not working... :roll:

I really am not sure I could measure a s0.75 so I will aim for a really fat 0.5. In fact, I'm going to practice with water now and count drops. :)
BBIAF with the +11 # (my clock in the kitchen is wrong, thought it would be +10.75)

Since it's been about 15 min. since you posted, grab another test and if the numbers are still heading up, I think you are close enough to 60 to shoot.

FYI - It's helpful when you're stalling and want input to change your subject line so when we're watching, we know you've gotten a new test.

At +13.25, she was 64 so I shot a f0.5u. Going to update SS now and will check at +1.

Will feed as normal at +5 but am not going to test again. Her poor ears are pretty rough-looking.
