Just when things are starting to look good....... :?
For the last week Alex's numbers have been slowly going uphill. I thought it was his 'cold' but the clavamox didn't seem to have done the trick as far as his bg is concerned, although the sneezing is gone...for now. Now I'm thinking that it may be a change in his food. When he was on the clav he was very picky about his food and all he would eat was Cowboy Cookout...and while that is low carb, it's not as low carb as FF. I have been raising his insulin every few days but that doesn't seem to be doing it so the only thing left other than medical things is food. And this is going to be tough because he LOVES Cowboy Cookout and has become disenchanted with everything else...even if it's drowned with chicken dust.
This is awful because I don't think his thyroid off because he has none of the signs. He has been calm as can be, no excessive thirst and peeing the same as usual.
Any suggestions to get this pussycat back to his Fancy Feast? He is stubborn and will hold out and I can't play chicken with him cause of his insulin....his is not NOT hungry..he just wants what he wants. He is so definitely my kid it's not funny ohmygod_smile
Other than that...lol...Alex has his purry pants on, all p's are in order and Alex and Jackson just had an okay size breffis of FF turkey and are setting in for their AM nappies.
(We all watched "The King's Speech" last night and highly recommend it)
Have a lovely Easter to all Kittehs and beans who observe!
Love,
Caryl, Alex And Jackson
