Maybe this is the reason Cali’s numbers stayed up. She was the center of a “party” last evening. The amazing shocker is previously she would have run and hid when someone unknown to her came in. We visited with a couple, the young man just got out of the hospital from a heart attack and emergency surgery. I was 100% sure Cali would leave immediately. No, she stayed right there for couple of hours. They even got a big laugh as they watched her enjoy a snack, growling at her food in case someone might try to get a bite. Catitude! Always a surprise with Cali! As is her AMPS this Sunday morning.

Regardless of our current numbers, I am happily witnessing a cat unlike I have seen since mid 2020 when diabetes struck. Levemir is an amazing and powerful hormone. Cali is the prima fascia evidence of that. Thank you FDMA and thank you for Levemir.

@+9.5 89 2tsp LC [last food before 2 hour fast]

??? Cali is in active cycle right now, dropping from +2. However we are approaching 2 hour fast window. So at this BG# is it safe to fast and test again at PMPS? My gut says yes. However if that +9.5 number was say 55, I know we would continue to test +10 & +11, but would we feed if still dropping?

Cali is looking so good! :D:D:D

I love that pic of her looking gorgeous and entertaining her guests. And the story of her growling at her food - that's some Callie-approved catitude for sure :p
