Lots of high numbers. Might be bouncing off low yellows. Or maybe dropped low last night. I need to get more tests in. Its amazing what a few days on a too low dose can do.

He is kinda lethargic and cant seem to walk more than a few feet before lying down - but still managing to be his usual little troublemaking self - decided yesterday he doesn't want his bed any more.. he wants Cookies. And Cookie wont take his and sits beside her bed staring at him...

One test missing that makes you wonder if he went lower overnight.

On the other hand the window of time then is rather narrow for much to have happened.

So it's probably just a case of methodically working your way back to a good dose.

More likely he is going to need a higher dose. It's amazing how quick glucose toxicity can kick in. Wonder how high he will go this time. I am noticing too a lack of energy, his back legs are brutal, and he won't jump on the bed.. :(

Plus I am going to see if I can find a lower carb food at the weekend. He fell out of remission on only 13%carbs a year ago, and since then has been on 3-4% fancy feast but I don't know if I 100% trust the FF people's consistency so I think I might try for a 2% like BG 95% or something... Depends what is available here north of the border.

I know you've been through this dance before but this comment made me think diabetic neuropathy. Wink was like that when I started to foster him. Only walked a few steps 4-5. Stopped. Walk 2-3 steps stop. He was also walking almost exclusively on his hocks and had trouble jumping.
The methyl b-12 really helped. So did getting him regulated.

Are you giving Tiggy methylcobalamin for the possible nerve damage in the hind legs?

I did for a month and then he suddenly over a week developed a spindle cell shwamomma which i understand is a nerve sheath tumour. It was cancerous and we removed it all but the coincidence between vitamins which encourage nerve regrowth and a nerve tumour was too much for us and we discontinued the pills.

I hope he's cleared the pinks and yellows by the time you've read this Wendy. Gobbles and I are sending strong legs vines!
