Good morning LL!

Tarragon slept with his beans and sister all night again last night and was the last one out of bed. Nice sunny start here today for Tarragon even though it is gray, dreary, and rainy. All 5 p's present. Charlie is inside supervising the kitties and watching AP.

I got a closer look at the owl last night and it is a Great Horned Owl. It is HUGE. I love to hear them and I know it helps to keep the rodent population down. It's been around for about 6 months but has gotten louder as the weather has warmed up. There is one that is outside of our privacy fence (which is a wooded bike trail) and they seem to "talk" to eachother. I hear you Rhiannon on the coyotes. We have those as well. Charlie got into a chase with one last summer and it jumped the fence and stole our neighbors wire-fox terrier. We also have a bobcat that runs through our yard just before dawn most days, but it has never bothered anything. Now the bats are moving in as well, which is a huge help with the mosquitoes. They will stay for a couple of months in our trees and then move on.

Hope you all have a great day!!

It must be wonderful to have so many wild life around. Owl & coyote ? That will be fun! Guess Tarragon will have a good time just watching them around.

I second what Helen said with it being cool with all the wildlife. How neat with the Great Horned Owl and it's mate and the talking. Neat with the snuggles from all the furbabies, too. Hope Tarragon has a nice slide down today. Have a nice day, Melissa.

I dunno...wildlife is way cool, but I don't know if I'd want it running round in my backyard, especially if it's stealing pets. How sad!

Nice start for T with the sunshine on a cloudy day, and all 5 ps. Have a great day, Melissa!

Hi guys,

Neat on the Great Horned Owl! I love their call, and you are lucky to have a pair. Are they nesting?
Good start to the day, Mr. T. Maybe the Grotto later?

Hugs and scritches to you all,

Ella & Rusty

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O)

Such a sunny yellow for you Mr T! Good job on keeping things sunny and bright on such a dreary rainy say. Off to the grotto later?

You have quite the collection of critters there: staying, coming and going. Very cool on the owl! We have a few in the area, but I think they are the average barn owl... not too sure, as they stick to the woods. Wow on the bobcat. Somehow that is kinda cool.

Enjoy your day today. I hope it is a good one.

Not a bad start to the morning, T, but be sure to check out the grotto. That's a bunch of wildlife. Very cool on the owls. :-D

I hope Tarragon slides down to some blue for you. That's neat on all of the wildlife, but sad the coyote stole your neighbor's dog.

Hi Melissa. Nice to see Tarragon doing well. Great that you have all 5 Ps there today.

You're fortunate to have such an array of wildlife around you. I wish we had more here but all we get are the birds and squirrels and the very occasional rabbit. We enjoy them so no complaints.

Have a wonderful day.

Hi Melissa

I'd be thrilled to have the Great Horned Owl here. I do hear owls pretty close in the woods, but can't identify them.
I also have a bobcat in the yard occasionally at night....it scares the begeebers out of me, the sound is horrible!!
I have the usual array of skunks, raccoons, tukeys, deer, 'possums, fox.
I would love to actually see the bobcat.

Have a wonderful evening. :-D
