Is anyone feeding their diabetic cat the SIMPLY NOURISH freezes dried treats? Our local PetSmart discontinued the Pure Bite brand. According to the package they should be okay but I wanted to check with the forum. If they're OK I'll buy a plentiful supply because they have a buy one get one free coupon that is good through 6/30/13.

I've never heard of that brand. I would check to make sure that the product isn't imported from China since that's where the recall of most "treat" products has been targeted.

I also can't find any information on the brand on-line which is weird!

The bag states Made in the USA. I did find out that their Chicken Stew wet food is made in Thailand. I can not find any info on who actually manufactures the freezed dried treats. The company is headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. They offer a 5 ounce bag for $8.99. A 0.60 oz bag of Pure Bites is $2.39.

I'm going to try a bag of the chicken and see how it does. I'm also going to attempt contact with the company's HQ.
