Yesterday's 'Blue and Green Look Good on Me' Day!

I'd say little boy adjusted well to his post vacation dose! a smooth blue/green day. And if AMPS this am is a bounce, I'll take it!

My power was out for nearly 6 hrs yesterday, apparently due to a tree down (it got a bit windy here yesterday, but no storms). That was discouraging. Hopefully all will be well today. Back to work, I left him a total of 1/2 can of his regular lc FF in 4 meals up to +5, w/ a bit of 8% mc mixed in, since I can't get home to check him today. the AMPS seemed ok, but he's been liking green lately..

bit of a bounce this evening, maybe from a combination of blue/green yesterday and the extra carbs today? better safe than sorry, since i couldn't get home to check him today. Hopefully he'll clear this soon. I am going out for a few hours this evening, but should be able to get a +3 and certainly before bed.

wow - the whole day yesterday in normal numbers. that's fantastic!

5.25 is looking pretty good! I saw your question about the dose decreases if he goes below 50. In addition to what Wendy said, I'd make the decision partially on whether or not you were gone to work all day afterwards. In other words, if you're doing a dose decrease right before your weekend, I might only take the 0.25u if you were going to be around to monitor.

Also factor into the decision how much trouble it was to get him over 50 when he does go under. Did you give him a bite of low carb and he pop back up over 50? or did you have to give gravy for 2 hours with him bobbling over/under 50 for that long? If it was easy to bring him up - reduce by 0.25u. If it was hours of fighting to keep his numbers up, go with 0.5u.
