DC is doing good.
I'm very happy with his BG's.
He is eating much better again. Don't know what was going on there.
He's back to eating his old favorites.
Last night he was quite playful and cuddly.
Slept under the covers with me all night.
All P's in place.

DC is having a great day.
The only food he will eat without gravy is the Friskies Chicken Dinner.
At least the carbs are only 3 in it.
How bad is chocolate for a cat?
I went out for a bit and when I came home, I found Frisky eating a white chocolate easter egg.
It was one of the large hollow eggs and he ate about 1/2 of it.
Before I switched the cats to wet food, Frisky wouldn't touch any human food.
Now he's a little thief. You can't leave bread, chips or popcorn around.
He will eat right through the bag to get at it.
At least he's not the diabetic kitty.

Re: 4/23 DC AMPS=94 +4=74 QUESTION???

Chocolate is not good for cats. However, white chocolate is not really chocolate. It contains a very small amount of theobromine which is what is the toxic element in milk/dark/cooking chocolate and as such, isn't considered toxic to cats. A cat would need to ingest 48 oz per pound of body weight to have a reaction.

Thank you for the information.
I would guess that he only ate about 2 oz.
It was still in the box and in a cupboard. What a sneaky thing he is.
