Long time no post! I have been checking out the subject lines as often as I can to keep up on everyone and today we just had to stop by to congratulate Vyktor and want to let all of our friends know how Weezer is doing. In a word grrrreat!

Disclaimer to any unfamiliar with Weezer’s story: due to acromegaly and IAA, Weezer is on very high doses of insulin and we are not following the tight regulation protocol. TR is the best chance a diabetic kitty has of going OTJ and I encourage any who can, to stick to it closely.

Now on to Weezer. We have been very aggressive with her treatment. We were as high a 30 units. Yes, that’s a topped off syringe! We are coming back down. 25 u seemed to be good for awhile, but she inched back up a bit, so last night we shot 26. This is the second time she has been at 26, but it takes her a little low, so this morning we went for middle ground at 25.5. Please take a minute to check out her chart and see the pretty colors.

(((Linda))) It's so exciting to see a Weezer report and to hear from you. I've thought of you so many times and have missed your encouraging posts. I will check out Weezer's ss and see her pretty colors. I'm glad to hear how well she is doing and no wonder with you as her Bean. Have a wonderful day and come back more often as you can. You must've been getting my brainwaves as I've been thinking of you lately, and wondering how you were doing. {{{{{HUGS}}}}} I took a peek, and you both seem to be doing very well. I'm loving those :mrgreen: s that she showed you the other day. I'm still wishing for her to show you more of those pretty :mrgreen: #s (hear that, Weezer? :lol:) I hope that you have a great day. Linda, I'm so happy to see your report. I have missed hearing about Weezer and her spreadsheet does look very colorful. You are doing such a great job with Weezer. Big hugs to you both!
 
Hi Linda, It's great to hear from you. Weezer's SS is so pretty with all those blues and greens. Wow, on 30 units. That's almost unfathomable to me. I hope all is well otherwise too!!
 
Hi linda, it's so great to see a weezer report .. The way you deal with everything and take such great care of your furbaby always makes me smile .. You are absolutely the best bean!! Please come back and update us more when you can!!
 
Linda!!!!! How nice to have a Weezer report. OMG on the 30 units.....cannot imagine. :shock: Lots of pretty colors on Weezer's ss....you are doing well at managing everything. :mrgreen:

It's so great to hear from you and Weezer! I was also just thinking about you, and I was telling someone about String just last week :lol: ! Weezers SS is looking great...it looks like you've finally hit a good dose ranger for her - Woohoo!

WOO HOO!! A Weezer report! it is great to hear from you. I am so glad that all in well in Weezer's world. Wow on the dose, but I see progress there! GREENS too! My hat goes off to you - you really have done well by Weezer. YAY! one happy furry purry kitty. :-D :-D

(((((linda))))) gosh i'm missing you! punkin says he's glad to see his buddy weezer too! cat_pet_icon i was thinking about you guys earlier this morning and wondering how things were going - i always think i'm a bit of a fruitcake for thinking about people/cats from this virtual world, but judging by the comments above, i'm not the only one! :lol:

her ss is looking great! i'm so glad to hear you're both doing ok. many hugs from us! :YMHUG:
 
I was just thinking about you guys yesterday too and wondering how Weezer was. We miss you!! I'm glad to hear Weezer is doing well and she's got a very nice SS goin on :-D

Linda, it's wonderful to hear from you and know that Weezer is doing well. I looked at her SS - all those blues and some greens!
