Good Morning LL! Good results with the party last night, DH and I actually got out together! :o He did the cooking and everyone was impressed, we left at +3 and got home to Tess who was just fine and had eaten from the feeder! Not sure just when , but SHE ATE FROM THE FEEDER! :-D :-D :-D That is a big worry lifted for Saturdays when we have to go to Santa Barbara. We called it a fairly early night, DH got up a couple of times to test.

WCR All 5 Ps again and very hungry kitty. Mannie would be so proud of her, Clean Plate Club again.

I'm so jealous that you got Tess to use the automat. I gave up on Checks, and gave the feeder to my DD.

Since Tess was surfing at preshot time we weren't expecting a drop so soon. Tested again at +3:30 and only up 2 points after her last mm so I gave her a touch more 4% w/ a drop o syrup to slow down the slide.

I guess she was hungrier last night because she ignored the feeder this morning. :YMSIGH: It's a work in progress. We'll just keep putting her bowls in the feeder until she catches on. Maybe if I leave my iPod on top of it, she is associating the alarms w/ food. :roll:

ETA: +4was 60 so the drop of syrup helped, back in an hour. :? Just ignored the feeder again.

44 2+5 fed a touch more LCw/ syrup, DH thinks she's looking for another reduction.

An hour later 64 @ +6, so the syrup did it's work.

Ok. I like ADW, their customer service is a little off though. I got my order last Monday and there was a package of pill pockets missing (I'd ordered the 6-pack of dog for my sister and 1 Allergy formula cat size for Tess). Of course it was Tess's that was left out of the order. I called and they said they would ship it right away and would call right back to confirm. They didn't call back , but i got a package today. 6 MORE OF THE DOG SIZE! They replaced the wrong item. I'm not sure if I should call them again. Sending it back and reshipping the right thing would probably cost them more than what it would be worth to get the package back. ohmygod_smile I want to be honest with them though. Anyway, check your orders thoroughly !

I'm also looking into vitamin supplements for Tess as the Wellness thing gave me a scare and she is now eating almost solely that. Does anyone know anything about VitaChews fro 1800PetMeds? Or The Missing Link supplement. That has it's 4th ingredient as blackstrap molassas! Anything else anyone likes? I'm cross posting this in health too.

Tess is looking great and John might be right about that reduction. Just as I was about to find some wonderful emoticon to celebrate her using the auto feeder, I saw the rest of your condo!! Tess!! :lol: :lol:

So glad you both got to go to your mom's and good job, John!!! How nice that he did the cooking!

I wouldn't giver her Missing Link. I used to use it and then some time ago read some things about it having ingredients that cats just don't need....even in the cat formula. I never could tell that it made any difference in my cats...and it isn't cheap. Not sure about the other.

I agree....I haven't been overly impressed with ADW...I had to go through quite a bit to get them to take that FS lite meter back. Still haven't gotten my refund.

Thanks for the info on the Missing Link. i was concerned that the molasses was so high on the list.

We are in the up-down-up-down stage, but nadir should be soon. The syrup seems to bring Tess up for about 2 hours and then she goes back down. what i like is that it doesn't seem to lead to as much of a bounce, or maybe she is just changing her pattern.

WOW - looked what I missed while I was DGS sitting and then out hiking. What cycle for Tess! SWEET!

I will chuckle of the auto feeder - that is a battle i fight everyday with Mannie. One day is the best thing he's ever seen and would consider it his best friend. The next day, and several after that, it's more like "what??? where's the service???". So of course he doesn't go eat it, and if I don't watch and make sure he does (who's the auto feeder here???) then the civvies eat it. ohmygod_smile

No clue on the supplements....

SOunds like dinner last night was great - fun!! Kudos to DH for cooking!

TESS! yay - it is so cool to have another member of the clean plate club. :cool: :cool: I am impressed. we did good with the KTSS today - so much soup! I was afraid i was gonna drop those pots - the are soooooo big and heavy! I so needed Gracie's after that! See you poolside? We gots more guarding to do - them bad mens are at it again! ~ ~Mannie

On the rise so maybe some sleep tonight and i hate to say I won't worry if she is bouncing in the morning.

Michelle, :lol: :lol: :lol: on the feeder. i pick her up and set her in front of it, "Oh food!" But she likes eat some and then circle the bowl and eat from the other side. So this morning she goes around and sits on top of the feeder to finish off the food on the other side of the bowl. ohmygod_smile

We've got the bounce. Still not getting the back to back greens like we were, but not too bad.

I'm going to take advantage and call it an early night tonight. I'm pooped. We started mowing our field today and weeding in my growing area. Tomorrow will be a long day too.

Sounds like busy times - I wish I had more time for "yard stuff" - just never seems to happen. bummer! enjoy the time.

Wouldn't you know it! I say I wouldn't mind a bounce and she heads back down! ohmygod_smile Oh well, I don''t think she'll go too low tonight. Ni Ni long day tomorrow.
