Monday morning faculty meeting...how unfair!

WCR: sweet girl snuggled with me most all night. So comforting during thunderstorms! All Ps are present. Big poo this morning! Whew-weee...and stinky, too! Hope she has a good day and finds the blue lagoon and surfs.

WHR: looking forward to my chiropractor appointment/decompression/torture rack today!

Ok, I still need to take my trash can out this morning, so time to go dodge raindrops. :-D Then to get ready for work but first to start w/ a faculty meeting. Really...on a Monday?! :roll: My principal is retiring this year and a new principal was just announced. Very nervous about the support/lack of support for the arts next year. nailbite_smile

Everything looks good in this condo!

The thunderstorms were very loud yesterday (I am not used to them yet). I guess this is just the beginning? I hadn't thought of it, but if you have a good 'kitty sitter' will you please send me a PM? I have tried a few so far, and none of them have worked out yet.

Kitty snuggles are the greatest. How nice of Shasta to cuddle with you during the storms last night. I hope she slides down today. I hope your doctor appointment helps you feel better. I love the pictures of your horse.

Hi Mary! When did you move to Orlando? (and where did you live before Orlando?!) The thunderstorms are incredible around here. Incredible, scary, crazy, beautiful, amazing... just best to be inside and not standing under a tree when they come rolling in. :shock: :-D I wish I had the name of a good pet sitter. I have a few friends that live in Orlando that are cat people, but none that I know that are actual pet sitters. If I come up with any names, I'll PM you.

Hi Michelle! Glad you like the pics of my Hamlet horse and his mud bath! :lol: I only have the one horse and the one cat. The two loves of my life! ;-) The faculty meeting stunk...basically, due to budget cuts and the failure of the 1/2 cent sales tax hike...my school will lose ~ 13 teachers. :shock: So, if anyone was interested in "jumping ship" (my words, not theirs)...please let the administration know soon or they'll start notifying teachers next week. nailbite_smile :YMSIGH: I would like to say that I'm not worried...I'm the only one certified to teach choral music, but that means nothing right now. I'm going to stay optimistic and remember that I am good enough and they want me...I hope. Shasta is snoring in my ear right now, so she's telling me that she's not worried. :razz:

Hey Carla, my chiropractor torture device felt great, but this couch is killing my back. :-| Ice pack on right now; about to hop into warm shower and then soon to be crawling into bed. Don't think we're supposed to have any more thunderstorms tonight, but they were good while they lasted.

Hope everyone had a great day. Shasta has been ok tonight. Got some fabulous purrs when I got home today; oh, and some head rubs and kisses.

Our schools go thru teachers a lot and I think the current choir teacher at the H.S. sucks...
after the school year ends, there are also numerous openings.

Hamlet's pictures are hysterical!! He must enjoy his mud baths. :lol: :lol: :lol: I'm sure Shasta is right to not be worried about your position. Paws crossed here too. I hope you feel better after today's treatment. Shasta, let's see some action, at least the grotto if not the lagoon.

Thanks Rhiannon! I know of several openings in the Orlando area, too. I'm praying that it doesn't come to that because I really love my program and I adore (most of) my students! Not to mention, I live 5 minutes from school! :lol: :-D

I will do my best to rein it in. It'll be soooo much easier when State Festival and our Spring Concert are over...May 3rd can't come soon enough! :razz:
