Good Morning, Everyone,

Remembering Mannie and thinking of Michelle. What a beautiful tribute she wrote. Every morning when I am drinking my ~O) I think of Mannie, Kitteh Barista and smile.

We woke up early to hairball hacks (the real, stomach-gurgling, hairball sound, not the "lung" coughs I used to think were hairball hacks). No hairball to be found, however. Rusty went back to sleep. This morning he was hungry for his breakfast. We are back to mid-blue this morning and I hope that the LagoonMeister will make it to the lagoon today. Test and shot went well. Breakfast was eaten in one sitting. The "lung treat" was enjoyed, as was a schmooze, and then an extra sitting of breakfast was ordered.

It is a beautiful, cold, sunny, early-spring day (21 degrees earlier this morning, but supposed to go up to about 50). Edward and I plan to scout out some of our paddling places to see if they are ice-free. Last week's first ("icebreaker") paddle of the season has us fired up. I need to work on my bikes, too, to get them ready to ride.

Hey Kitties, Check out the Loose Lips condo today. Full-Fish Moon Party on Thursday at Camp Stu. Anyone have any suggestions for getting together today? I'd kinda like to chillax on a beach, or maybe do the dunes. We can pick up some snacks on the boardwalk and share our memories of Mannie over lunch. See you later.

It's that time of the year for hairballs... I'm glad to see Rusty in the grotto. Have fun on your scouting expedition!

I hope that nasty ol hairball is gone soon.. pleasantly presented on hard floor instead of carpet?!! Poor little guy. Feel good Rusty! Lovely spring morning!!! 21!! I hope you see that 50 and have fun scouting today. Hope there's lots of ice-free paddling places.

yes! let's do the beach! I gots lots of fish from my beans freezer. We could roast 'em whole on a fire?? And i gots burgers cause some of us don't like fish. I wanna hear and tell Mannie stories. Let's ask his little bean to come with us. I know beans don't get to come with us...but he's so little, he's not really like a bean, he's more like magic, just like Mannie. Remember, what happens on the beach, stays on the beach! see you in a sec... oliver

I hope Rusty slides down to the lagoon today. It is hairball season. I've been trying to get some extra brushing in to help, but am still getting lots of hairballs from my kitties.

Yup, hairball season is upon us. It sometimes takes my guys a few rounds of hacking before producing the goods. I bet Rusty will be back in the lagoon in no time!

Hi Ella. Phooey on the hair balls. It looks like Rusty found something interesting in the blue zone. Fingers crossed that he'll come down to the Lagoon and take his reserved seat.

Hope your paddling spots are ice free so you and Edward can get some more canoe time in.

Amazing how good we get at distinguishing the different types of hacking sounds. :lol: I hope Rusty gets rid of that hairball soon. My civie has started with those but am waiting for Neko to do the same. The coconut oil might be helping a bit.

Rusty - lagoon tonight?

Good luck in finding paddling spots so you get out on the water more.

Nice blues Rusty, but green is your color. Oh fun on the scouting. I hope you are able to get out there soon. I think you've got the itch. :lol: Have a great night!!

Hi again,
We found one of our favorite paddling spots to be free of ice, so we'll do a short paddle there tomorrow afternoon. Some of our friends will probably join us.

Rusty was flat blue all day and is a little higher blue at PMPS. (At least we seem to be rid of that yellow day!) We'll see what happens tomorrow. I may take him up a drop if he doesn't show some greens soon. It was a beautiful day here and Rusty enjoyed some outdoor time. The hairball never did materialize.

Hi Ella - sorry for the late visit. I hope you guys are doing well.

Rusty - dude! What happened to the lagoon? Maybe you just wanted to be a blue kitty today.... hey - the BMG lives on! Good job. Well, once in a while is OK.... best get back to the lagoon - it needs itts Meister. :-D

Very nice on your paddle tomorrow. YAY! We have several sunny days coming yup - looks like maybe spring is finally here for us. HOORAY! I went hiking over the pass today - to the Yakima area, a canyon called Cowiche. Very nice time! I will post the Picassa link for you so you can see if you want: Cowiche Canyon, Snoqualmie Pass There are a bunch of Pass photos in there too, so you'll have to Weed through those.... :roll:

. funny how that took off so well... I think of him too when I get my mochas... I am glad to see that you will keep the fun stuff going. I alwyas thought it was a form of release from all the stress of FD, it is nice to see it still being used. Have fun!
