Somehow this didn't get posted yesterday. I got it ready and thought I posted it but it must not have gone and I never got a chance to get back. Sorry about that, not that you missed me. :lol:

Racci had a good morning though flat, but refused to eat all afternoon and evening for reasons known only to her. I finally figured out what her problem was when I got back from the store (I missed her nadir) & she ate the BG salmon after refusing the Core Salmon! The little stinker wanted BG! She was starving herself, holding out for it until she got it through to her thick mom that this is what she wanted!
Since she leaves over half of the BG straight because she doesn't like the texture when the water is gone, I have to mix it with Core to get her to eat it all but she loves the flavor so I guess I was mixing it wrong! I finally figured it out by taking it back and giving her straight BG and she gobbled it up except for the end again! Of course this was late at night though so she went without eating much most of the day!

At least she did try something new though. She shared some of DH's corned beef and loved it so I think I'll try some core beef since she likes their texture and BG beef since their salmon was good and I can mix them.

Hi Melaine, I am glad finally Racci is eating. These cats sometimes just drives us crazy. Mummy like lunatic, getting all different kinds of canned from pet shops trying to get them to eat on their own. I am lucky that Rosy is one always with a good appetite. My cats are all fish eaters too. Actually all cats in HK are. I share the same frustration as you trying more food for Rosy ( we do not have that many LC canned in HK) thus screwup on the carb content. I am trying to add in more home cooking , steamed chicken, steamed mince finsh into their diet because for sure these are LC! Rosy is also having Core chicken, turkey & liver. Ive tried a lot of the other claimed no grain pricy canned food but found that a lot of them contain vege.
Dont give up on trying new food for Racci. Sometimes they refuse this wk & love it the other week!

Hi Tortie,

You're lucky Rosy eats everything easily. Racci is so hard to feed. She ate her dry food for over 15 years and just isn't interested in this canned stuff. :razz: My Calli always ate whatever I gave her too. She loved canned food. Racci always looked at me like I was trying to poison her when I tried to get her to eat some. At least she's finally eating some now, I guess, even if she is the fussiest in the world. :lol:

When we first gave her homemade chicken she really liked it. Now she won't touch it. She likes homemade beef or fish though. I'll keep trying. I found a new one she'll eat today so maybe I'll find another next time.

Thanks for visiting me. I hope you and Rosy are doing well. I've been so busy lately I haven't been able to visit anyone. I hope tomorrow is less busy.
