Another stagnant cycle last night. This morning is the 8th cycle on 1.75U so you had better get in gear PurrFace.

The bunk bed project looks good after the first application of stain. One more stain application, three or four coats of Poly and a coat of paste wax and it's done.

Off to the physical therapist for my torn rotor cuff so will visit condo later today.

Thank you for your visits yesterday. Wish everyone a great day and don't let anyone steal your joy.

Re: 4/22 PurrFace AMPS 196

Morning John, I wonder what's taking PurrFace so long to respond to the dose threat. PurrFace, you better get serious or else! More juice! Good luck with pt for your rotator cuff. I've had pt for the shoulder a couple times, and the exercises do really help. Mine not as serious as yours, sending vines that the pt helps. Have fun finishing the bunk bed project.

Hoping that PurrFace gives you lower #s very soon. Wishing for you to make a full and speedy recovery, and I hope that they can give you some pain meds in case you need them. Try and have a great day.

Finally, more than one green number for the SS. DW was on duty while I was at PT and forgot the "green=2 tsp" rule and fed him 1oz @+3 & +4. I don't think it bothered his numbers too bad since he was still green 2 hous later, but he didn't get any food @+5.25.

All went well at PT. they told me I will probably still need surgery because approximately 70% of people with a torn rotor cuff that ride motorcycles require surgery. Supposedly the arm being in an extended position (hold the handlebars) for long periods of time and the shaking from he motor vibration arethereason. Who da thunk!

Having a great time sitting on the porch listing to he birds sing, watching the squirrels eat and the pool filter cartridges dry . The pleats in the filter cartridges expand when the dry making it a lot easier to get all of the dirt and debris out.

Thank you Mary, Ann & Angela for encouraging PurrFace to go to the Lagoon. I told him I'll make him a toy for cooperating. He likes the round scratching post that have rope wrapped around them. I made one that's 5" long and 3" in diameter that Katie claimed. She loves to roll it around and then use it as a pillow. I'll make a smaller version for PF. Probably 3" long and only 1-1/2" wide when done. He'll be able to bat that one around.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Oh nice green PF! Way to go. Ouch on the rotor cuff. Those hurt. DH needs to have surgery someday for one. Thankfully he doesn't drive a motorcycle.

Do you have a DE filter? We replaced our DE filter with a sand one a couple of years ago. Our pool is up and running. And holding water. I did the bucket test over the weekend. Charlie took a dip while I was at work today and says its all good. I have heard that about owls as well. Luckily Charlie is 100 pounds of pure muscle.

Have a great night!!

Nice to see the green numbers again. PurrFace is soooooooo good. No matter where he is he'll come when we call him for a test. All we say is "where's the PurrFace and then there he is on his testing table. We just say "are you ready?" and he turns around and lays down facing away from us. He just started doing this on his own. When he sees the syringe he jumps on the ottoman where he gets his shot. He makes it so easy for us.

Kat, yes the riding is worth the surgery.

Melissa, does your DH have full range of motion in his arm? Mine is too painful, although the cortisone and novicane shot the ortho doc gave me helped a lot. Glad your pool is finished and Charlie approves of their work. We have a cartridge filter. It has 4 fiber cylinders inside the filer tank. They're about 7" in diameter and 30" tall. The sand and DE filters are suppose to be the best. We had a DE filter for our pool when we lived in San Antonio. I didn't like back washing it because I had to back wash it on the grass. We started putting a skimmer sock on the skimmer baskets and they prevent a lot of fine stuff from getting to the filter.

Have a great night all.

Wow on how PurrFace behaves for shots and tests....
That's pretty amazing....
And the greens today were amazing too.....
Keep them coming, PurrFace!

My DH had rotator cuff surgery several times... the last one fixed it for good ( Albuquerque has a really good dr for that) His previous surgeries were V.A. so they didn't fix it.
Hope you can get better with the P.T.
