Morning kids and collarbuttons! ~O) ~O)
Ollie's dr. squeezed us in this morning. (thank you, thank you) He rolled his eyes...again when I told him Ollie had an "off" day and i just wanted him looked over before we hit the road.. you know, check the brakes, change the oil, check the plugs :lol: Oliver was on his best vetty behavior, no hissing, swatting or biting this morning. Checked eyes, ears,teeth, listened to heart and lungs, once over for bumps etc. Gave a "GREAT" on the spreadsheet. So, I think we're good to go. All three have an appointment with the new vet when we get to Milwaukee. She sounds great(anti-jinx) 3 cats currently in her practice are diet controlled diabetics. She doesn't like the prescription food for diabetics!. Likes Ollie's spreadsheet although she says she isn't comfortable with numbers below 50. I told her our kitties are not allowed to lounge in the 40s. I sent her a bunch of the stickies and we'll see what she says when we get there. paws crossed she works out better than his last dr. in Milwaukee who said his organs would eventually "just pop" and we should put him to sleep.

That's a great vet report, Ollie. Good for you! Now, have a good trip and you'll be ready to impress the WI vet when you have your introductory visit.

Hey Ella,
We're leaving shortly after noon.. Traveling for a couple hours and then stop for pmps and the night. That'll leave a nice short day getting to Rd. Atlanta and the guys won't be tired from driving before the weekend work even starts. I have fleeces for the peeps and fleeces for the kitties...lots of snuggle time for me and the kitties while DH drives the truck..

Wow, how exciting. And how very nice that OliverTwist has the Good to go report. That must be very comforting to you!

Safe travels.... and yes, check weather reports so you have at your fingertips the 'fleece' etc. that you may need at any given moment! Also, travel with lots of food... ;-) Sorry, I travel a lot! :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
What a great vet report on Oliver. I hope the new vet in Milwaukee works out as well as you think she will. Have a safe trip.
 
Hi Mary. Nice numbers for Oliver and a great vet report. The new vet in Milwaukee sounds nice and a bit more knowledgeable about FD than most.
