The pretty girl has some nice numbers today.
Did you know that in Spanish "No va" means "It doesn't go"? Chevy, I think, had (has? I'm not into cars) a car named the "Nova". It sold very poorly in Spanish-speaking countries and it wasn't until they realized what the translation meant that they understoood why the car wouldn't sell.

I've actually heard that..but never actually went and looked it up until today (in an effort to avoid working).. seems its an urban legend:

Nova is the name of a Mexican gas.. that makes sense.. Nova gets really bad gas.. she can literally clear a room... wonder if she meows in spanish.
Nova and I played a game of advanced bottle caps a bit ago.. instead of just knocking them off the desk I throw them in the air to her and she bats them all around the room.. she gets so excited when it goes flying and crashes into something noisy.. so adorable.

Oh, I always think Of Nova as
a cataclysmic nuclear explosion caused by the accretion of hydrogen onto the surface of a white dwarf star, which ignites and starts nuclear fusion in a runaway manner.

That's what she was named after Pat
.. she was still pretty much in her shell when I named her..really timid and shy.. but I saw glimmers in her eyes of a wild kitty just itching to come out.. the shelter named her Serenity.. I just knew that wouldn't work long term .
Does anyone have a time machine? I'd like to go back in time to +5 and tell my work conference call to hold please while I go test my cats blood sugar.. or before then to charge my phone so I wasn't trapped at my desk.. hindsight I hate you!
