Yesterday was a pink and yellow recovery day from the night before.

4/21 Recap:

This morning's number combined with last night's makes me wonder if I did a fur shot last night. I did not see or feel any signs of it. There was a faint smell, but I sometimes get drops on my fingers when I'm removing the excess. Oh well, Neko seems to be recovering and headed for blues shortly.

It's a gorgeous sunny day. First thing I thought this morning is that we have Mannie's sunbeams shining on us. :-D I'm currently in the solarium with the kitties and there is also the jazz/blues saxophone playing next door so it's a wonderful day. I just came back from lunch with my DH in the cove, he's there finishing off some rowing shell repairs. The film crews are out. :twisted: Our lovely little get away spot is full of vehicles - I've heard it's for a new TV series so they'll be invading again.

While I was out I stopped in the local pet food store to place my next months food order. We got to talking, they've stopped stocking Natura Pet foods on their shelves. Interesting what a recall will do. This pet store discourages dry food, although they stock a bit. That's why I like shopping there, that plus it's locally owned.

Oh, please stay down in the yellows and blues, Neko.

You must live in a real lovely place to have film crews making movies (T.V. series) there :-D

It looks like Neko is headed for blues later today. I hope they don't invade your space too often for the tv show.

Classic Neko late in cycle slide when starting high. :-D Any takers on PMPS?


@Dyana - I've attached a pic of the cove where we row. It is often used for the setting for small towns near the water in movies and TV shows. There just isn't much parking there. Neko is now as blue as the sky and water in the picture. :-D

@Carla - You are so right, blues it is. Unfortunately the show Cedar Cove is about a small town on the water, so I suspect they'll be back a lot.

Nice picture. It must be fun and relaxing living there.

I am going to guess 95 for PMPS. Whoever's closest wins?

I guess an even 100. That was quite a dramatic slide today, Neko. You may indeed have given a fur shot (or partial fur shot). I think I did the same thing the other day, but Rusty is slower to come back down these days when I make those mistakes.
Is "Cedar Cove" on national Canadian TV? Which network? We get some Canadian channels here in northern NY state. I''ll check it out. The cove looks beautiful. I can see why you love rowing there.

Ella wins! She was the closest. After Neko hung out at 115 from +9 to +11, I thought she'd go higher.

@Dyana - We live about 10 minutes drive away. I'd love to live closer, in spite of being part of our larger municipality, they have a small village feel there. You were not far off the final number.

@Liz - She paused for a while, then kept on sliding! I'm actually just as happy it wasn't 83. :lol:

@Ella - Congrats! You guessed the closest of all. Acrocat Neko has an extra tool in her toolbox (working pancreas) that can get her back on track a little faster. Cedar Cove is supposed to be on Hallmark TV, wherever that is. A number of US shows are filmed here too. One time when were were out for dinner in the cove, DH leaned over to me and said "don't turn around, but Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner just took the table behind you". :cool:

@Rhiannon - also close, but greens might be in the next cycle. The pic is of the ocean, so it very seldom freezes.

OH My - Neko's AMPS was quite high! Glad to see she is doing much better now!

Maybe Neko can be a guard kitty and keep the film crew away! I know how they can take over a place!
The film crews would visit my home town of Temecula!

@Michelle - So good to see you. :-D More sun tomorrow - hope you get another hike in. Neko didn't do so well surfing, but could still bring it back to blues later.

@RIch - Neko loves being dramatic. :roll: Film crews are pretty busy in our town. We've got water, mountains, forest so lots of possible locations. This one is supposed to be Washington State. :lol:
 
Oh Neko Neko! Come down slowly! There is no need to go upstairs!
N Vancouver is a very beautiful place. I wish I can visit after 10 yrs time when I retire from the full time job as the caretaker to my 21. :cool:
