wow - Another great day yesterday for Mannie. dancing_cat The AM cycle was a wonderful blue surf. amazing in itself in that he is still dealing with having a baby in the house for part of the day. it is nice to see that even though the crying upsets him it apparently does not upset his numbers. YAY! WOW on the PM cycle -how great was that? Loved the greens. :mrgreen: Mannie - very good job! Your bean is proud of you! and your internal organs. cat_pet_icon We seem to have a bit of a bounce this morning. I hope he can clear this as quickly, and find those blues again.

We have made progress in the "baby situation". Mannie decided to spend a portion of the morning while Nicholas was here with us, in the same room. NICE! :cool: We did have a few crying moments, and though one of them was a basement retreat,the second was not - he just moved to the other side of the room. HOORAY! Mannie really is a very good people cat, very social. I bet that in no time he will be at ease with it all. paws crossed! :-D :cool: :-D Yesterday after Nicholas went home with his mom Mannie made sure to give each one of those nanners his tender loving personal touch care, one by one they all got a bath, and chew, several slobbers and turned and rotated so that each one was fully inspected, approved, and secured. :lol: :lol: :lol: . Normalcy in MannieLand this morning: Mannie has been his usual furry purry self this morning. Purrs for test, nom nom nom for breffis, but no fuds dance, nanners secured, and the baby's toy basket. Have a great day everyone! I have my DGS again today (SWEET!) - I just don't know how many condos I can get to today. Know that I am thinking of you all, and hope you and your kitties have a great day. I hope to be able to do a short hike today at one or our local lowland mountains after I drop Nicholas off at his mom's TBP. Weather - please be good!

Kitties!! WOOT, SWEET!, and what a party last night for Daniel! We need a hanging out and resting day. Maybe we should go back to Gracie's and make sure all is well with her catnip patch. Them bad mens should do done soon, and maybe we can chillax by the pool. See you guys??~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, Great pic of Mannie guarding Nicholas' toy basket! Great Uncle Mannie looks after things! I hope you can go on your hike today. Fingers crossed for good weather and a cooperative Mannie.

Nice numbers last night and not too bad today!

Mannie - SWEET on the parties and I'm ready to head to Gracies - maybe if them men are done we could all just hang by the pool! I musta done sumthin good last night - my mama gave me FF ELegant Medley - I LUBS that - she said sumthin about me being green - no clue what I did, but I was a very happy kitty with the extra special treats! Progress on the little human acceptance.....and another lovely cycle stacking up for Mannie. Love this dose on him!!! I hope you get your hike in. It is beautiful here today.

FRiends...hurry...we gotta get KTSS to Shadow and Raja and then guard the catnip patch. The bad mens are spraying something out there...mama covered the catnip but last time she did is when they squished it!!! Hurry!! Next week we will have the pool back to ourselves. FINALLY!!

Hi everyone - thanks for the visit! I did make it this afternoon, after I dropped off DGS at my DD's TBP. It was a lowlands woods type hike, managed 7.0 miles, climbed 1100 feet, and made it home in time for Mannie's +11. Which he was waiting for.... that and his patch out in the sun. :cool: :-D What a great afternoon!

Hi Iorwen - yes!! that it was - in time he will be fine. he did flee this AM, only to return a couple of hours later.

Hi Ella - :lol: :lol: on uncle Mannie and the toy basket. He does check it out: gets the once over, and then he checks his nanners. It's like "ok, they smell like this, and my nanners don't so all is well." and yes - he keeps tabs on that basket. :lol: -- and yep: HIKE in!! Nice one - I am still waiting on E Wa, as the passes are still snowy and icy in the morning when I would need to cross. of course a couple of hours later, all is well.... :roll: oh well - soon!

Hi Ann - i know on the ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) : multiply that by 10, and then maybe.... It was really a long night last night. I think he will eventually with Nicholas, just a matter of him accepting that those cries are normal, and ok. repeated exposure will take care of that in no time....

Hi Sherry - thanks. It was a great, but tiring, night last night. He had a good run. and the bounce this morning sure didn't last long. It couldn't believe it when he was blue again by nadir, and then stayed there. :cool:

Hi Marje - little by little with Nicholas. I am glad thought that when he is freaked out he can just go downstairs and sleep there. I think it's a good factor in keeping that fear from spiking his BG. so far - no problems there! YES! and yep on the hike. had a good time!

Hi Georgia - I was thinking the same thing, remembering Simon's 55. They must want to be green tonight - I too hope it won't be a late one. I'm still recovering from last night. Thx on the hike - I love it, would go daily if time allowed... so many wonderful things to see out there.
