Morning ~O) ~O) lots needed today!
Finally some productive news for Detective Poo's rounds. Yesterday was the fourth day of no poo, and I was getting worried, as Mags usually doesn't take this long. Sometime overnight Mags had prezzies, very, very soft but all in the LB. Some did get on her legs and then litter stuck to it, so Mags had another partial bath very, very early this morning as I noticed the aroma and wanted to make sure Mags was okay. She was very good with the bath and just made a couple "help me someone" cries! :cry: I dried her off as best as she would allow and let her sit in front of the little space heater for a short while.
Poor Mags, I feel so bad she had such a difficult time. I'm rethinking the Paw Lickins and wondering if it's possibly too hard for her to digest. It's shredded chicken, and she loves it. I fed her CowBoy Cookout by Merrick this morning which is more juice and soft pate. I mixed in just a little of the Paw Lickins. I may be trying some other low phosphorus foods. I expect her to be high from the CC, but it usually doesn't take her up drastically. Thanks everyone for all the poo vines yesterday and days before, too.

Nice blue Maggie. Poor girl with the impromptu bath. I'm glad she gave some prezzies though. Maybe the new fuds are just too much for her little tummy to handle. Change in food really messes with Tarragon. Have a great day Ann!

Morning Melissa, yes thank goodness for the prezzies, such a relief for Mags! I think Mags is getting used to the baths. It seems it's the kitty wipes she doesn't like.

WOO HOO on a blue amps. well... I always loved the blues. I hope Maggie surfs well for you today, maybe even visits the lagoon.

YAY for poo, but so sorry on the "mess". and the bath. I had to do that so many times with Mannie too, he just wasn't always very neat with the LB stuff. :roll: :lol: Good girl for accepting the bath: well done Maggie.

Maybe try mixing the paw lickin's with something else? I tried that one a couple of times too: went over very well. well good luck!

Enjoy your day today - hope you get out some too, a walk maybe? it is 100% sun here today, with 60 as top temp. Woo hoo - I think spring has finally arrived here. I hope things are as good in SD.

That's a very nice +3, even with the 2 helpings of CC!
I'm glad Maggie had some 'movement' in the LB ~ sorry to hear it resulted in a bath. Poor sweetie. It's such a balancing act, finding the right fuds that are low-carb/low-phos./good-for-digestion/etc.
You're such an attentive mamabean, Ann.

Hi Michelle, thanks so much for the ~O) ~O) ~O) drinking it now! :-D Yes, I was pleased, too, with the low blue at +3! Mags is all settled down and seems none the worse for wear with the poo issues, taking it all in stride. I do remember the Mannie baths and squinty eyes afterwards. :lol: Loved his squinty eyes.
I think I'll keep the Paw Lickins and just add in more of the pate fuds to keep a balance.
Yes, as soon as the low clouds lift, I do want to get in a walk, too.

Hi Josie, I think Mags needs a little baby bathtub if this keeps happening. :lol: Yes, it sure is a balancing act with the fuds, and thanks to Dr. Lisa's list we have choices. Mags is all tuckered out after her bath and lightly snoring.

I'm really glad to hear about the prezzie in the LB. WTG, Miss Maggie! Sorry about the partial bath though, lil girl. :sad: However, I'm sure you feel better, right? And you're showing your Momma Bean some very beautiful #s regardless. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these, and even better #s in the days to come. Keep it up, sweetie! :-D

Nice start for Maggie, number-wise. Sorry the poo situation wasn't - um - "smooth"...but at least she did poo. Phew! I know....Trix thinks that Paw Lickin's is mighty tasty so maybe you're right...blending it with pate fuds could be a good compromise, so Mags can have this tasty fuds, but hopefully have an easier time with digestion.

That's a nice slide today, Maggie! You'll be in the lagoon soon.

Sorry about the impromptu bath, but it sounds like Maggie didn't mind too much. Do you have a small blender? Perhaps run the Paw Lickin' chicken through a blender to make a paté? I think I read here that someone else does that to mix up the "chunky" foods to a better consistency. Anyway, it's great that Maggie likes the new fuds and that they aren't too high in phos.

Sorry about the bath, but at least Maggie gave you some prezzies. Hopefully next time they won't be so soft. I hope Maggie keeps sliding down to the lagoon.

Mags is liking the Cowboy Cookout and so far so good with her numbers. Guess I'll be traveling to the pet store today for some CC. :-D

Thanks Angela, she is showing nice blues today. I think her cycle is a little high when she's backed up.

Hi Amy, yes phew :lol: for sure! I think blending it in with another pate one might be the way to go.

Hi Ella, yes I do have a small blender which may help with the chunks. That way Mags can have her cake and eat it, too, so to speak.

Hi Detective Poo, this one was a long time coming! :-D I had the Pet-Ema ready, although I was nervous thinking of it and would have probably ended up with a Vetty visit.

Carla, thanks for all your poo vines. Mags is starting to get used to the impromptu baths.

Hi Ann.

Aren't early morning baths fun? I just shaved (sort of) Clancy's rear end, because of the soft prezzies, and I swear he sits in it, to punish me for giving him wet food. I love his long britches, but not bathing in the morning.

I'm glad Miss Mags got to poo,even if it was inconvenient. :roll:
Checkers is tired of the PawLickin Chicken. I tried cutting it up yesterday, but need to run it thru the mini chopper to make it mushy.

Hi Ann. Looks like Maggie found a comfortable spot in the blue zone. She's not so far up the bank of the Lagoon that she couldn't venture down to dip a paw in.

A little Cowboy Cookout fuds spike. We'll play it by ear. If Mags decides she likes it longer term, we'll go up in dose.

Don't eat too much Mags, Ize 12 mths OTJ today so I want to take you out for fuds. I found dis nice little bistro dat makes blue nippitinis. We can toast to Mannie and eat all de fuds dat make for de nice poos. Sounds like you're all bathed and ready to go so Ize on de way - love Vyktor xxx
