Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! I just love ~O) ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! and as a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... OH! forget it... no tuna mochas. BLECH!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Mine was nice - the weather was good, the trails were calling. I had really hoped to be able to head on over to Eastern Washington, but got a late start and with them working on the roads over the pass, I decided it would be better to wait until next week. So.... we did local instead. here's what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Ours was great! We made 63, under semi-sunny skies, much better than expected. And I shall not complain. Rains are due around Midnight, 60/70/80% over the next few days. I think I am glad that I got out today. :-D I has a few errands to take care of in the morning, didn't finish til 10 or so, so.... local out and about hike was required. I went to the Cougar Mtn area, and did Coal Creek. it is a trail Nicholas and I have done alot, as it suits him, and there are sections that he really likes. I kind of wanted to go back today and see how it was, how the access etc is. They are working on the road and an underpass for the creek and the trail, so one of the access trail heads is closed. Anyways - I found the alternate way in so that I can get him back there, to the section that he likes, instead of the other end whihc would require him to be hiking for 6 miles. Probably not too doable for him. I did the whole thing today, much more than he will, had a blast hiking it. I did an offshoot trial that has been closed for a few years due to a washout. Technically it is still closed but I went anyways, figuring I can always double back if need be. Wow, they have done alot of work there, and are almost ready to reopen. Didn't have to double back.... nice! So, all in all, a nice hike today. I did 7 miles, climbed maybe 900 feet, had a great time. The creek there is a pretty one."

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part...Lola will always be Lola. It was nice enough yesterday that Elsa made a few trips outside once I was home. It was so cool to see the old gal sunbathing on the deck railing, walking in the grass, just enjoying being outdoors. Everytime I watch her do that it reminds me of Mannie. It does every time I let her out... He loved that backyard. Funny, Elsa still continues to take over some of his "paths". That is kinda cool. She spent alot of time on the railing, face up to the sun. Really a nice time for her. And she didn't want to come in! I was home on time too from my hike trip, so the kitties weren't waiting, prancing and giving me that "you're late" look.... Instead I got the 'hey - you're home, can we eat now?" look. Good kitties! All was well when I got home too, nothing had been Lola-ized. Bug was affectionate beyond affectionate so we had alot of pets and scritches. Elsa was too, once she came in. ;-) Nice time last night with the kitties. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. It is a "catch-up" day for me - since I haven't really done alot in the past five days on the home front. Some things got done, a lot did not, simply becasue we were busy with fun stuff! Cleaning for sure today, some laundry, and maybe some yard work. There is lots to do here, so the day shall not be wasted, ;-)

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

I hope you get all the necessary chores done quickly so you can get out to enjoy yourself at least a little.

Hi everyone! Good day for everybody? We did OK here. The weather sure has been a hit or miss kind of a day. WSDOT sent out an email, plus a FB post, about how they expect snow tonight and tomorrow up at the Mountie passes, elevation around 2500. They think that if that should occur the "reopening" of all lanes this Friday may bot happen.  Dang it! No Eastern Washington trips yet? you gotta love it. Well maybe none of it will happen anyways. We had sun show up her about 1 or so. Wow, so much for the deluge that was supposed to happen. Tomorrow has been revised from 100% down to 60%. improvement. YAY! Breakfast with Anthony was nice, good as always. There is no new news there from him. Work remains as frustrating as it always has been, but he deals. Sun showed up at one, so I headed on out for a walk/hike to the usual spot. So nice to see that sun, made for a nice hike. Tide was out some so I could actually walk some of the shoreline. By 3 the skies ere getting a little ugly, so headed on home. Now we kinda have a 50/50 mix of vivid blue skies and white clouds. If that stays that was til 8 we ought to have a great sunset. Hope so. I will post the Picassa link to the photos in tomorrow's condo.

Lyresa - I LOVE that sunflower house. OMG. Nicholas would think that was the best thing ever! That would be so fun. I will have to scope out a spot in my yard.

Ann - Yupp, got all done, and about the time I finished the weather actually got rather nice! Go figure, but I shall not complain. I really like that sunflower house too.
Auntie Ann! You gots it! I lubs them mochas the best. My bean had two! silly bean... heeheehee on Emma. I told Lola that she got an order for Emma, so now she is all excited. Says she has to drop some of at Katie's, and will bring her along. Something about a mega lay session. I uhhhhhhh hope the catio is finished. See ya!!~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi Carla - THX on the pics. I did yesterday - that was fun, and not too hard either. The creek was ever so pretty! THX on today - all is caught up, and I did amke it out for a bit, Relaxation time now. so so agreed on Bug: love it when he is like that. He is a sweetie.
