Ugly AMPS, but I'm hoping he dropped a little last night. He had a decent morning. He ate a little over a half can of EVO 95% chicken/turkey and about 1/8 can of Ziwipeak Lamb. I know his AB shot hurt this morning, but he didn't make a peep. That needle just didn't want to go in this morning. Poor kid. He got all of his meds - just has the metoclopramide to take at lunch. I think he's feeling a little better. He ate everything in the kitchen vs the closet this morning. He was in the closet when I left, but he was hanging out on one of my shoe shelves...looked pretty relaxed with one of his front legs hanging off! :lol: He's usually hiding under DH2B's clothes so I think that's a good sign. Hoping he continues to feel better!

What a nice report this morning for Logan...I am so happy to hear all those wonderful things! It's so nice to see that he is in a different spot in the closet..kinda in the open and not hiding so that does mean something...I agree. Good eating too! Yay!
We are sending lots of hugs to you and Logan and DH2B...you are doing a great job...all of you! Good days are hopeful days....and you sound happy today! :YMHUG: It is a good Friday Eve today!

Thanks, Pat! We're trying not to give in and give him any FF - I think he'd probably eat that if I gave it to him. It just has too many ingredients in it - can't be good for his IBD. So, he's on FF-Free day #3!

Better watch those high heels Kelly.
Logan is already tough competion at the parties.
Now all the lady kitties will be fighting even harder to get a look at his shoes.

Now that you mention it, prior to finding him in the closet, he was snuggled up to the pair I had sitting out to wear today! I had to pull his front leg out of one of them...it was nice and warm for me. :mrgreen: Maybe I should be worried!

Nice to see some more yellow today - hoping that's an indication that whatever's been bothering him is getting under control. He ate fairly well - had some EVO, boiled turkey breast and some Ziwi venison. It seems like if we offer him a large variety, he'll collectively eat enough!

Sometimes I wonder, though, if the variety can contribute to some of Logan's problems. I know for some IBD kitties, it helps to keep them on a very narrow spectrum of foods, and trying/switching different foods can be aggravating. I know in Logan's case, it's a difficult balance because you simply need him to eat, and that of course takes priority. But I can't help but think that once you find a 2-3 foods that Logan will consistently eat, you can rotate between them and you'll see things settle down a bit. Hope so!

I like to hear about dangly kitty paws; that's usually a pretty good sign of feeling good and casual about it all. And that yellow, well it's certainly a great improvement on the start of today!
That small choice of foods sounds like a good idea; I have been trying the same thing for Oliver, just to see if his LB deposits will settle down and be consistant.

Scratches for that handsome Logan and about the shoes, I think he just wanted to be close to you.

So nice to hear that he's feeling better, eating better, and becoming more sociable. Love the yellow, Logan, especially with food on board - let's see some more.
 
Logan ate 3/4 can of EVO 95% chicken/turkey. I had to put some chicken dust on it to keep him going, but I can live with that! He's been in the dining room preening himself for the last 20 minutes.
 
Logan finished had some more EVO at +2 so that makes 2 cans total today. He's been hanging out with us most of the night. He tried to help me mop!
