Hoping to check for Ketones today. Want to keep on top of that, but would love to not do it and live in denial. But, unfortunately, I know too much now to truly be in denial. Damn knowledge :YMSIGH:

I know what you mean, Linda!!! As high as Champ's BGs have been, he's still testing negative. I bet Guinness will too!!! Sending some positive energy your way. Have a good Friday. Come on, Guinness, give your bean a break!! :-D

Came home today to find the small ziploc bag of roasted chicken I made and cut up for him for his testing treats, demolished on the floor. Either I left it out, or he has figured out how to open the fridge, which would not surprise me in the least. Hopefully, he will pass the pieces of plastic bag successfully, or we have a whole other problem to worry about. At least it wasn't the loaf of bread that I've left out and caught him under the coffee table going to town on.

Still in the high 300's for his PMPS, shot 2.5u as scheduled will be back at +3. Bought gigantic cat grass at farmer's market today...both cats have had their head buried in it for the last 20 minutes. Happy shooting Lantus Land!

Linda, I tried to answer some of your ?s over in our condo. I've been reading Julie's posts. She is really having a hard time with poor Punkin'. Guinness sounds like Gus. Too smart. "I'll just help myself, thank you". Gus hijacked a sausage from the frying pan the other night when my back was turned. He was never quite that bad when it came to food. But now, he is always on the prowl to fill his belly. Believe me, I feed him constantly and it's never enough! Thanks for taking time to ask some ?s that may get me some more info.

I'm liking that +3!! Nice that he swiped the chicken. Gizmo has been know to chew holes in bags of treats and share with Gabby. (Stupid kitten.)
 
Man, they are little food thieves aren't they?

Too much of some good things tonight. Played with the DaBird and he actually ran around and jumped in the air and caught it a few times Go Guinny! Ate lots of grass and at about +4.5 threw up his dinner and bunches and bunches of grass. Maybe the grass wasn't such a good idea so close to meal time.

Tested 290 at +5.5. Not bad. Hopefully, tomorrow morning will show a low 300 or 200 (dare I wish).
