Went to the vet for his regular check up today. Temp was 100 and he got his shots. the rescue remedy did nothing - he growled and hissed the moment we stepped into the building.
We will increase his does to 1.25 units tomorrow. I am hoping to be able to stay home from work one day next week, maybe Friday, to do another curve on him. Vet was ready to up him to 1.5 but I told him I felt 1.25 was better. Showed the vet tech/my pet sitter how to dose the 1.25 on the syringe - I had his equipment with me and should have given him his shot there...
His amps was at 5am followed by the insulin. He ate about 45 minutes later. I tried to go back to sleep, but that didn't happen so I went in to work to start making up time for my early departure. Hopefully Cedric can get off the rollercoaster he is on (or tells cjleo he is on....).
We got stuck in some serious traffic, so he got his insulin at about 6:30 instead of 5:30. We go back to our regular 6/6 tomorrow and will use the 1.25 units.
Dr is ok with the B-12!
