Got to thinking, I know it's a dangerous thing. With Ollie eating every 3 hrs it means carbs are always reloading and tests are always carb influenced wouldn't it? Opinions please? Dosecrease done last night. Her tumor is just being a stubborn sucker. It doesn't want her insulin below 6.5

Tripper has a well visit today. We seemed to have missed her annual last year.

Saw a bright male goldfinch this morning. Certainly stands out against the naked trees.

I thought about that for Willow, because she's fed every hour from 8 through 12, then at 2 and 5ish (shots at 8) so many (most) test except pre shot are carb influenced. But I figure it's a consistency thing, and *this* is Willow's cycle. If she *didn't* have carbs at those times it would be strange/her readings would be off from her normal. Fasted isn't her normal.

Tripper had a canine tooth broke at gum line but still in there. Vet pulled it. Also has a small infection on both upper sides back teeth. So AB for 10 days. Got "potatoes " out of both ears and had a pedi/mani.

If Olive is always eating every three hours, then that's her normal routine. You want to give enough insuin to keep her in a good number range for her normal routine. Speaking of which Olive, pink is not pretty on the spreadsheet.

Actually every 3 hrs started 4/13. I thought that was why she was doing good for those few days. I combined the +2 & +4 meal into 1 meal @ +3.

I don't know why she's hitting the pinks now except for she is a cat and she can.

Boomer gets fed every 3 hours and I find it works very well for him. I think the food "high" lasts only a couple of hours.

But then the next meal is eaten and high starts starts again. Maybe she is going into a pancreatitis flare.

It helps to keep them safe; there is about an hour when the insulin will drop the BG without food to stop it (from +2 to +3) then again from +5 to +6.
