Yesterday, after seeming like forever, Neko seems to be settling into this dose.

As is usual with lower starts, there was lots of enthusiasm about breakfast this morning. Well, even more enthusiasm that usual. :lol: Neko does like to dance around and help by getting under foot. But she is a very good girl and automatically lies down after finishing breffs because that makes it easier for me to give the shot.

Happy Easter Monday - for those that celebrate it or get the holiday. Not gonna say much more, board seems to be sleeping again.

ETA: Got the +4. :YMSIGH: Another bounce.

Neko is a sweet girl to make it easier to give the shot. I am glad that she is settling into the dose. I hope she clears the bounce quickly.

Thank you, Neko, for bringing Zener down from those stinky pinkys but I think your bean would be happier if you didn't. Our kitties do everything they can to help us, isn't that sweet? :-D Is you elbow completely healed for rowing this year?

Neko, what is that ugly blip at +4? That's really not a becoming color on you. How 'bout some greens....or at least some blues?

I'm always amazed at how many nice kitties are out there. Lying down after breffis like a good girl? Shoot, Jersey knew that was the time to run like she had a dingle stuck to her hiney. :lol:

And down she slides. Where she goes next, nobody knows. :lol: The sun came out this afternoon, providing premium solarium lounging time. Neko also came out and helped me do some gardening. She was doing her cow imitation and chewing grass. Nanners got a good chewing this afternoon too. :cool:

@Carla - And blue she is. Amy mentioned in Trixie's condo that she does that and I noticed shortly thereafter than Neko seems to be doing the same thing. cat_pet_icon

@Catherine - Not so sure about settling into the dose, that +4 makes me wonder.

@Liz - Maybe Zener will follow to blues? Kitties can be so helpful - when they want to. :lol: Elbow is OK, not 100% but good enough for rowing. I give it a good massage before rowing and do daily stretches which seem to help.

@Shelly - Neko is on Levemir and an acrocat, who often have late onsets and nadirs. Lev typical onset is +4, but for Neko it's more like +5.5 and PS is often her nadir. So, the +4 is more like a PS for a "normal" Lantus cat. I'll take a +3 or +4 test to tell me what the rest of the cycle might look like. Neko's a pretty mellow cat, always has been. My nickname for her when I poke her is "world's best cat".

Neko seems to have righted herself by PMPS. Good girl!

Thanks for the tips on Windows--Mac. I understand that the recent Macs can run Windows files with no problem, so my only challenge will be to get Edward's important files transferred to the new iMac (he is still working on a large project for publication). Edward doesn't need the Windows environment on his new machine. He's going to make a complete break. I switched to Mac about 15 years ago and never looked back. He can, too. I'm still running Snow Leopard because my MacBook is about 8 years old. It does everything I need it to do, however. Edward's Mavericks machine is fantastic!

Looks like night time diving and late nadir. :roll: So much for getting lots of sleep before rowing.

@Ella - Neko turned it around big time. :o I'm looking forward to upgrading my OS sometime soon. I did have some PC programs that only ran on Windows, but I mostly found alternatives.

Oh, Neko, what are you doing? Isn't it a little early in the season for a moonlight swim? Come on out of the lagoon, you silly girl and let your bean get some sleep. :mrgreen:
