Morning all,

Sun shining, birds singing and I went back to sleep after the first facelicking wakeup call...but no harm done - I just did the testing/shooting/feeding all together. This did not please her Majesty as she enjoys the morning game of "track me down and test me". This morning I just put the food out and grabbed her as she got to the bowl. For now, at least, I'm still smarter than my cats.

Last nights preshot was likely a bounce off the green because we're back in the blues today....and Jez says she'd love some company so come on down....

Nice run of numbers so far....surf safely Jez. Glad she did this on a day you could be around to watch her.

So am I Mel - but the little stinker really doesn't want to be tested - which is why I'm just doing it on the hour. I decided to hold off serving lunch because I was curious as to what she would manage and what, if any bounce I'd see.....but this dose looks to be "da one" at least at the moment.
 
Yes, I'm beaming like a proud mama bean...you'd think I'd taught her green. myself.

Seriously though, its an awesome surf - high enough not to worry about, low enough to be healing......and I held off serving lunch so I would know there wasn't any food influence. Interestingly enough, neither of the highnesses have been badgering me about lunch today....and I actually fed them less than a full can of Friskies this morning - I think perhaps they were too busy lazing about in the sunshine to remember they hadn't been fed in a few hours :).

Mind you - neither is huge, but Mz Jez has been packing on the ounces lately and I was reading the article someone on Feline Health linked to about how cats don't necessarily know when they've had enough to eat....so alhough allowing them to freefeed is fine - there needs to be some portion control involved.

OK- back to my weeding/and hopefully painting some trim while the weather cooperates.
