a little bit of a bounce isn't too bad - especially when i look at her ss and see all those hours of blues/maybe greens yesterday. that's fabulous!

good luck on the food - some cats really are challenging to feed!

Thanks for your support Michelle and Julie! I think she's pretty exhausted from the bounce...very sleeeeepy today.
 
OH, Ella, so much better now, love the blues on you, but just try to go all the way to green, its not that far :mrgreen:
 
Hi,
Just checking in to see how Ella is doing and she is doing OK. Tamara, I know that things have been pretty stressful for you while you are at work and worrying what your kitty might be doing with her numbers, but she seems to be fine. Lots of kitties have frequent bounces, so just hang in there. Tonight looks like it might be a bit of an active cycle, but hopefully Ella will surf in the higher greens and get some good, healing numbers. You both are doing very well.

Thanks for checking in Ella:) I still am stressed when I leave the house, especially since she's needed a kick start to eat her food in the last week. I can only hope and pray that she would sort herself out if she needed to.

When we know the cycle will be active is it important to test every hour unless she goes under 50 or is every two ok?

I hope you and Rusty have a good weekend too and that he is feeling better in his belly:)

i don't do anything until punkin goes below 50, unless it looks like he's on a straight line down. ella looks great to me tonight. i'd just let her go, feed her like normal, and see what she does.

one way i decide how often to test is to look back on his ss and see when i had a similar preshot number, then see if there are any recent similar cycles and what he did then.

I've been looking at the SS to see if I can see patterns and it does help me to gauge where Ella might go:) It would be nice if she surfed in the greens tonight. I'm going to get a +6 and depending on that number, a +8, as that's when I feel her nadir is.
 
she's eaten a 1/4 can less today (36 calories)...so perhaps that might be affecting her numbers.

Thanks for visiting. I just saw your post on yesterday's condo. I think you're right, they are in a conspiracy. :smile: Racci's doing better today though, thanks.

Ella looks like she's getting over her bounce too. What wet foods is she eating now? Racci is down to only 2 right now that are definites & they're both salmon! I'm still looking for new ones to add also.

I hope Ella is feeling better.
