Melissa & Tarragon

Computer has been down so I haven't been able to post for a few days.
The vet had told me to stop insulin on Saturday since Tarragon was bouncing. We decided to give it a try for 4 cycles just to see and it was obvious that Tarragon is not ready for that. After some potty and tummy issues Sunday night, I called the vet back Monday and told her what his levels were and asked her if it wouldn't be better if we went to .5 U. She agreed and put him on an antibiotic for his tummy.
After two days on the new dose and antibiotics, he is cuddly, bouncy and happy. I plan on doing a full curve Saturday, after he has been on this dose for awhile. But, for now, it seems like he is better than he has been in a long time. One day at a time, right?
I hope everyone has a great day!
