4/20 - Penfill catridge or flex pen??

Hi Denise,
I think most use the flex pen. I believe I'm the only one that still uses the vial. :lol: The pens are more cost efficient, althought cost more up front, and they last longer. I have been able to use the vial for...7 or 8 months and then I get nervous that it's pooping out and crack open a new one. People that use the pens have been able to use to the very last drop.

I'd get pen-fills over carts because it gives you a "holder" for the cart (pen-fill is the cart encased in a pen with a cap), and protects it more. It's easier to hold when you draw the dose then a cart.
And both will last longer than a vial, as Marcy points out. I have used my penfills (and carts) to the last drop every time and with small doses under 1u (for both boys) they last a long time!

Are you ordering from Canadadrugsonline.com? If so, I do believe they order the flex pens from Turkey or somewhere, so it can take up to three weeks or so. I think the cartridges they send out locally and I think it takes about a week.
Now I could very well be wrong about this since it has been a while since I ordered any carts, so someone please correct me if I am wrong.

hi Denise ! you know I started callie on Levemir on april 11th 
I use the vial , I got it from the pharmacy the vet called the script in for me ! I looked on the internet and it was the same price at the pharmacy 137.00 but with the pharmacy no shipping and just a few blocks a way.
