Heard from a vet (another in the office, but not the one we've been seeing) this afternoon with some of the results. He was negative for pancreatitis and the fecal panel was negative (for anything, I guess). Still waiting on the urinalysis in a few days. She basically said that if that comes back clear too it's time to start looking at x-rays, ultrasounds or hospitalization.

I can't really feel like this is "good" news because no answer means nothing gets fixed. At least if it were pancreatitis we'd know what it was and be able to take steps. As it is I'm left just drugging him up and hoping it goes away. I'd rather take action on something we know than wonder what the problem is.

My only other idea is that it's his food. At some point recently there was a reddit post from a user claiming that the FF Classic Chicken Pate of a certain lot number made all of their cats violently ill. Their post history implied that they had blamed it on a lot of things (and the comments reflected disagreeing with her and pointing that out), but the lot number was 43 and this started while he was eating a can a day with the lot number of 43. Who knows.

Last night he seemed the most miserable I've ever seen him. I usually nudge him to get off my desk at the end of the night and go to bed, but he made the most pathetic "Leave me alone, I don't feel good" sound ever. I gave him another dose of ondansetron before bed hoping he'd at least eat that and feel better overnight. Even if he doesn't come to bed right away, he usually comes at some point. He never did last night.

This morning he seemed a little better again. Ate the food with the ondansetron so he was able to have his first 2 meals. Then came shot time and he could barely be bothered to even lick at a Churu. Usually no matter how he's feeling, he's excited about Churus. He didn't even finish it. Fortunately he was distracted just long enough to give him his injection. Don't know what I'll do if he starts not wanting those at all and I can't inject. Also didn't eat lunch.

It seems like the ondansetron wears off way more quickly than I'm able to dose it. The vet said the Cerenia would work better, but she also only gave us 4 capsules.

He hasn't really been getting any blue either (except one steep drop at the point when he seemed so miserable last night, but I don't know why it would've happened or if it was a false low or what) but I don't know what I should do about that. I feel like increasing is just adding another variable to everything that may make it worse.

He's just not at all himself. I miss my boy.
