For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hr energy coffee, and for all my mocha fans: Venti quad almond roca infused mocha, with chocolate caramel whip, garnished with caramelized almond clusters, chocolate shavings, a dusting of crystallized caramel and dark chocolate drizzle. . .......... PRIMO! Only the best for all my customers....OH! Tea infusions too, by request. They is primo too! I SWEAR! Today : almond vanilla chai!! Psssstttt.... I gots scones and croissants too! AND! Spring is her, summer is coming: SO: Raspberry Creme FRAPPE'S today!

I would like to take a moment and thank all of you for your kind thoughts and words in Mannie's condo yesterday. You guys are the best, what a wonderful LL family we have. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and especially Mannie's. THANK YOU, EVERYONE!

Yesterday was..... vetty day, and a nice semi-slide down day in MannieLand. It was nice to see a yellow yesterday, and a surf into the pinks at pmps. The Numbers aren't all that great, but good for where Mannie is right now. I hope to maybe get him to a comfortable yellow with whatever time he has remaining, maybe with some luck the blues too. :-D I hope for a good day today, more blues would be so cool! I thought I'd repost the results of Mannie's IM Vetty visit yesterday. The visit really was a good one. I like this vet -a s she listens to how I feel, listens to what she sees in Mannie. We discussed alot of options, most of whihc I just couldn't do to him, and have him be happy. Here';s what I wrote yesterday: IM VET REPORT: We are now stage 4 CRF, up from Stage 3 of just one week ago, despite the fluids and the meds. The weight loss continues, down another 3 ounces, despite all the fuds I try and feed him. Anemia has worsened: 23%/9.0. His heart issues continue, BP about the same, but she noted that his is working especially hard, breathing slightly labored (though I haven't noted this) more than like due to the anemia issues. So.... we are now treating for Anemia, in the hopes that this will help his heart, and well as slowing the muscle weakness progression. As hard as his vetty team tries, and I, we cannot slow this down, progression is fast, so all I can truly hope to do Is make him as comfortable as I can. She estimates, based on the above, and physical condition, that we have a couple of weeks before the QOL decision will need to be made. I cannot have him suffer, and all this makes me very sad. so.... he is resting after his visit today ( and note: LOL: in true Mannie fashion their floor was his LB: Urine AND poo - omg). We are taking this one day at a time. Mannie will lead the way. I have no doubt he will let me know....

All is well in MannieLand, Mannie says so! :-D :-D Despite the vetty visit he ahd an OK aday. Most was spent sleeping and recovering from his ordeal at the vetty. After his PM shot I took him outside for a while for a while so he could explore. it was pretty limited, as all he really wanted to do was lay in the grass, gets his sniffs (LOTS!). I just love it when I picked him up to come back inside he growled in protest, and also managed to bring half the yard in on his belly fur. :lol: It was a great time outside for him . :-D I hope for good weather today too so we can go out again. The rest of the day was spent pipping, in his bed, or on the nanners. it is good to see that the nanners still rule!, though he has let Elsa play with them more. Somehow it is nice that he does. :cool: :-D Today appy was so so ( :roll: ), LB is normal, Ketones tests have been negative. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D yes, it is normal. Mannie said so.

Have a great day everyone. Today I am meeting my DS (the easter breffis chef) for breffis at a local ma and pa cafe. it should be fun, and I am so looking forward to it. The rest of the day probably will be at home - one of these days I simply must clean.... :roll: :roll: :lol:

Hey everybody! What's up!! it is so sunny here - you guys wanna take one of them cruise ships up to Canada? we gots a really nice one here , and they cater fuds and drinks and everything!!! We can ride top side, and maybe even play on deck, maybe. I'm sure Tess will be able to do the titanic thing too. What'd'ya think? They go to Vancouver and there are really cool things to do there...You guys in? let me know - I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie

That is all that matters. That is very nice of Mannie to let Elsa see the nanners. Healing vines for the big guy and give him some extra kisses and scritches from Auntie Melissa. Morning Michelle and Mannie, always good to hear about how much Mannie loves to go outside every day. So nice Elsa gets to enjoy the nanners for a while, too. Have fun with your DS. That restaurant looks so good if it's the same one as pics prior times. Have a great time today and maybe a mini hike if weather permits! My place is still waiting to be cleaned. :-D I'm hoping somehow it will get done.

Michelle, those pics of Snoqualmie Pass are beautiful. I'm so glad you could get up to the mountains to reflect on the vetty report. Mannie was happily snoozing in his bed while you were hiking. Let's hope for good weather today so that he can spend some time outdoors. Enjoy breakfast with your son and have a good (?) time doing your chores.

THX too on DS and breffis - we enjoy it, and gives a chance for some one on one time that doesn't always happen other wise. Good food too!

It is kinda heart-warming in a way. :-D AN dyes, he did recover well from the vetty visit - it didn't see to stress him out too much, though he sure did want to go home when he was there. Wow, what fun we had last night! I told you the bean bed was fun to nap and play on! You were very funny on the stairs, pretending to walk off them and fall! You are one silly kitteh. Oooooh and you forgot your bean prezzie! No worries, it's in my wagon all safe and snug. I can't wait for your bean to open it, she is gonna love, love love it!

oooh a cruise ship today! I'm in. I'm bringing a blankie just in case it is cold there! I so don't like the cold. And let's hope that Tess doesn't fall into the water this time when she plays titanic, it is way too cold to go swimming!

Thank you for my extra special delivery this morning. I so love your teas and am excited about drinking the frappe later!

Did you like the clay paw prints that we made with Buster and Maui's prints. Do you think your mama bean would want your paw prints? It's such a nice keepsake, if you think your mama bean wants one - let me know, and I can send her the link to get the kit. She can even put it on the Christmas tree as an ornament or just hang it on the wall. And the nice part, you don't get clay stuck in your fur.

You kittehs have a fun day and please don't get into any trouble.

Morning Barb ~O) ~O) ~O) I hope he does - these "HI's" are so blah! Oh yes on the out. I take him everyday, as I know it's where he want and likes to be. Summer months he spends so much time out on the deck. I still could let him go now on his own, but am just too fearful he'd fall on the steps, or not be able to get back home. Silly me, I worry too much, while still trying to let him be himself. YEs ont eh grass and the sun - often one can see him just sleeping out there - that is normal summer stuff, so we try and let him do that.

He has to be one of the most unique cats I have ever ad the pleasure of caring for. The downswing over the past 3/4 weeks has been dramatic, very very hard to watch, and not be able to fix: heaven knows we have tried. he will do this his way, on his terms and his time fame. It is all so Mannie. so we support, and cherish each moment as they present themselves - whether it is two more years, days, or weeks. Rock on Mannie.

Michelle, I just wanted to stop by and say how much I am thinking of you and Mannie. I know how worried you are. I'm glad that there are some bright spots in your day, such as Mannie enjoying the outside and of course, his nanners.

Hi Georgia :-D Thank you so much - yes, it isn't easy, as I am sure you well know. But you are right - there are those bright spots, so we focus on those. Mannie continues to try to be Mannie, and for that I am grateful. Thanks too for the hugs - I will make sure Mannie get his fair share. :cool:

That's so cute Mannie is sharing his nanners with Elsa again. It's good that Mannie can still go outside and enjoy himself. Those pictures are beautiful. I'm glad you got a chance to clear your head yesterday. I know it's not easy, but I'm glad you are able to find good moments to share with Mannie. I'm keeping you and Mannie in my prayers.

559 @ PMPS. Back to that color again, but at least it isn't alpha.... :roll: :-D Appy wasn't too bad tonight. It took a little encouragement, but he ate all that was offered, minus 1/2 tsp. Tonight I didn't bowl chase.... :lol: :lol:

Hi Carla - I think so too. its nice to see him share with her. :cool: And me too on the outside - it is what he enjoys, so we will still keep doing that for him. That little nose was working over time this afternoon. THX on the pics - it is such a gorgeous area, I love going up there when the roads are drivable. me too on the good moments. they do make such a difference. many thanks on all.

My sweet friends M & M ,I am so saddened to read about Mannie's health..I have lived with that heavy heart & know what you are going through. Knowing how much you Love Mannie, I know you will make the time now count..
I just stopped by tonite to see what was going on, and read your condo...
Just wanted you to know I am here for you, in any way you should need me..
I miss you & Mannie & everyone here in LL, but I still wear you all on my heart.
I miss Moonie every day, but keep her close by me, in a special place.
May Mannie feel no pain and prayers for nore time for you with him...
