Bella’s numbers were high today 
and I know it’s mostly from starting her vacation dose of 0.5 plus the stress of going in the carrier. I also know it’s better for her to be a little high rather than low when we’re not around. My mom is already nervous, so dealing with a low sugar while we will be 4 hours away is not ideal. We dropped her off tonight and my mom gave Bella her Plavix, checked her BG and gave her the insulin. Hopefully her numbers go a little lower tomorrow, I’ll be happy it’s she’s in the 200s and not the 300s.
I told her that after doing it a few times you adjust. Bella is in the best hands with my mom. Hopefully she keeps cooperating.
