Zener is doing fine this morning. Appy is very happy. He ate most of his breffis on his footstool and then a little on the heating pad in the window. He never made it back to the bed. :lol: :lol: He's been eating a bit more than usual in the mornings lately. Then I think "Uh oh, what's wrong?" :roll: So I decided just to enjoy it and appreciate it while it lasts. :-D

We sure do miss Mannie and are very sad. Hugs to Michelle. I'm sure it will be very strange at first as she adjusts to a new routine. Mannie sure was lucky to have such a great bean. Also thinking of ailing kitties and beans. TGIF!

Morning Liz, very nice report on Zener, especially with the happy appy. I love hearing about his breffifs spots. Zener, I think AnneBean will miss not having you there for breffifs while she sleeps. :-D Have a great Friday. Mags eats a lot when she starts to drop.

Ms Tess, I's with ya at the radiators, great idea. Be there soon. Do you's have Mannie's recipes? I's not a very good cook, but I do likes to eat sugar and I lubbs Mannie's cinnamum cookies! I's missing Mannie a lot today, are you? Da cookies will help. - Zener

Hi Liz - I've never used an animal communicator (from your post on Leo's condo). I read about psychology of animals and tried *so many different things* but it just seemed like he would go into freak-out daze mode for the trip. And to prevent the barfs, he had to get meds, which made him tired and scared. If we have to do anything more than the vet again, I think I'll do what you suggested. I think I know my cat, but I don't know CATS in general. Thanks for the suggestion!

BLECH on the +2.5! Good test with lovely blue PMPS and happy appy. The shot seemed to go okay but there was wet fur and that dreaded insulin smell. :roll: Darn it. We can't be sure the UGH number isn't a swift bounce from today's greens, but it could also be compounded by a fur or partial fur shot. Oh well, as Roni (Roni & Moonie) would say, "it's one shot among thousands", a night off for beans and a pokey break for the mighty Z.

Thanks LIsa and Do Lou, Ann & Maggie x2 , Barb & Checkers, Ann & Tess, Lisa & Leo, Josie & Ripley, Ella & Rusty, carla, Wendy & Neko & Amy & TrixieCat for stopping in to cheer on Z-man today. We've all been very sad and down today, missing our buddy Mannie. Maybe Zener ate too many of those delicious cimmamun cookies with the other kitties at the radiator gathering to celebrate their bestest pal on his journey to the Rainbow Bridge.

Sending appy vines to Ms Tess and hoping tomorrow brings happy appy. Wishing all a calm Friday evening, full of cuddles and scritches with our much loved kitters.
