Simon had a mostly green day yesterday and is starting off with a nice lower blue number. He is doing really well with his numbers but I'm nervous that is going to change by the end of the week. Simon's vet said that Simon still has a little bit of an ear allergy and wants him to be back on the Zymox drops, starting this Friday. The vet wanted to give Simon a few weeks after the dental to settle down before he starts the ear drops since Simon is so sensitive to everything. The Zymox drops don't have a steroid in them but I'm still nervous that his bg will go up just like any other medicine Simon has been on. I know it is more important to have his ears cleared up but it just seems like when Simon is back to his usual numbers, something happens, and he has to take medicine again. Oh well, such is life! Other than the ear issue, he is doing really well. Right now, he is staring out the patio door at his "mini-me" neighbor's cat. No sign of his girlfriend, Rosie.

Nice to see your boy back to the beautiful numbers he is used to. Sorry his ear is still a bit inflamed. His pancreas is obviously working so maybe this blips from the meds he's sensitive to won't affect him in the long run. Hugs.

I wonder if Simon just likes Lantus Land so much that he keeps inventing new reasons to stay on the juice? It's possible, right? :lol:

Hi guys! What a nice set on numbers for Simon. I hope that when he goes back on the drops that it doesn't affect his numbers, paws crossed. at least if it does you will know the reason. I love Libby's comment. :lol:

It is too cute that Simon has friends that come and visit him. Well done mini-me.
