Yesterday was Neko's very common pink to blue slide day, followed by a zoom up as I did a partial fur shot. At least she wasn't red this morning, so I got some juice in last night.

Today Neko gave an excellent example of the value of spot checks. Five hours after AMPS she'd barely moved down the pink floor, then after her warm-up she decided to head for the double black diamond slopes and go charging down. :shock: Good thing I usually test around this time!

I've been slow getting on the board. It was gray today and I was thinking of Michelle experiencing the same gray gloom. It did stop raining a couple of hours ago and the sunshine came out. I hope she got sunbeams at her house. My two were out in the solarium enjoying the warmth. And they are getting lots of hugs today.

Very good point, Wendy. Gabby's another kitty who has gone from an AMPS in the 400s to a nadir in the 40s and a PMPS back in the 400s. BOING!!!

And, I couldn't agree more about missing Mannie and grieving with Michelle. My guys are getting lots of hugs, too.

That's quite a drop! Thanks for the reminder on spot checks. I get pretty complacent late in the cycle. I hope Neko has a beautiful, no drama surf tonight.We had beautiful sunshine today. I hope she had our sunbeams.

Hi Wendy, Yes it was a tough day. Took me forever to dry my eyes. I hope that Michelle did get some of those sunbeams and that Mannie sent them to her.

That is a great reminder ~ I tend to stick with the same times for tests, but these are kitties, after all :lol: .
I'm glad there was some basking time today. :cool:
We're thinking of Michelle & Mannie, too. Extra hugs and extra treats for all our animals today.

I took a test at +10 that said 244 and was really confused which one was the bad test. Then PMPS was 138. Still confused I took a test 25 minutes later that was 160. I think the +10 was the bad test cause that would have been a whole lotta dropping from +10 to PMPS. Then we went out to a friends for dinner. The last 1/2 hour there I was hinting strongly, "we really gotta go, don't trust the cat". Sure enough, get home and test right away, up pops that 49! :shock: :mrgreen:

@Sienne - The worst thing about today's drop is that it was in the last half of the cycle. At +5 it looked like a very slow slide. Now I'm going to worry every time I go to bed and don't see much action at the beginning of the cycle.

@Carla - That 77 was a shocker, she was blue a few hours later and now green again. :o

@Zener - Like my double flip to cannonball. Cool huh! :cool:

@Mary - Neko has taught me not to be complacent late in the cycle, but a few days ago she did a +13 nadir! We got sun later today. :-D

@Ella - I'm pretty sure Seattle got some sunshine later in the day.
@Rusty - You coming into the lagoon soon? I might be in trouble.

@Josie - Every once in a while I try to mix it up. Neko is very unpredictable - learned her cat lessons well. :lol: Yup, good sunbeams today. :-D

@Rhiannon - Today is definitely a good example of not being complacent, or unpredictable these kittehs can be. You called the slide...

@Marje - Drama queens! Another dive going on. PJ party here too.
