Well we are one week post dental sx today and I am calling the vet to get his opinion the first days after the dental/extraction he seemed to feel good other then his high BGs but last couple of days he has been really drinking which I know could just be his BGs his last dose of bupe is today and he is still on orbax liquid until gone but he is just very lethargic and not eating well I took his temp last night and that was normal. He has 3 ps so far today. We started new lantus last night as well since my vial was getting pretty old and I thought it might be the insulin but I think its more then just that...Bean is worried about her boy cat_pet_icon

Hi Josie yes he is a worry right now I am waiting on the vet to call and he just had a long drink from the tub faucet again but at least he did not lay in tub this time that is just not like him we have one more dose of orbax from what I can tell the bottle is very near the end..

Hi Lisa, it does sound like something is amiss there with Do Lou. Sending lots of healing vines and hope you soon hear from the Vet. Keep us posted.

Hi Ann

Yeah its the laying around more I mean he is not active anyhoo but he will take like 2 steps and then just crash and just lay for a while he has never ever done this  so he has been worried he still purrs but I do think something is just not right..he has been doing this since late tues/wed but its gradually gotten worse to make the Bean worry :YMSIGH:

Hi Lisa. I'm sorry that Do Lou is feeling well. Hopefully the vet will get back to you soon. We are sending him healing vines and will keep you both in our Prayers.

Sending lots of feell better vines of DoLou. I hope it is just the meds not quite agreeing w/ him. Is he eating well/

Hi Ann and no he is not eating well I pretty much have to use lots of baby food to get him to eat
Talked to the vet and he feels like its a combo of bupe and high bgs making him feel bad he is off bupe now as of this morning anyway and I am to call vet in morning with another report right now he is a wee bit perkier and is eating FF chicken and cheese  hopefully he will finish most of it

Oh dear. I do hope Do Lou is feeling better by the time your read this!! Poor baby. Have you tried the suggestions on getting a cat to eat, which is posted (somewhere) here on FDMB? I can find it for you if you haven't already. Have you tried KFC? Thank you for your visit today, BTW. I'm sending prayers and hugs to both you & Do Lou :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
