Late night for me last night as Attie decided to throw a low cycle, included a 1am spot check. This morning all P's already accounted for from everybody. And even a few silent Meows of fud gratitude from the cat with torti-tude! I love watching Attie play chase. I swear he has a bit of a vision problem though. MudCat just darted off and he followed at a full gallop to only miss her leaping to the back of the sofa. She is sitting on the back of the sofa and Attie is looking for her in the master bedroom. confused_cat . Well, MudCat best beware when Gary gets his house privileges he is quite the athlete and just might give her a run for the money. Sometimes she will be running and stop off and standstill to the side...Attie runs right on by and looks for her in another location.

Forecast Today is cold and rainy and stormy...AGAIN today. We've had 3 fisherman that needed rescued from the river this weekend due to fast rising waters. The fish really love this fast running water for breeding and egg laying. Neighbor is a bow hunter and he got his license yesterday, but the rain is making it too hazardous right now. They are predicting peak for this weekend, so hopefully the rain will let up and we can catch a few for the freezer!

I am still taking pain killers for this chest/shoulder muscle pull and this weather doesn't help me out one bit. Three doggy visits on the schedule today and still hoping for some late last minute reservations to be made for the weekend.

Sounds like a lot of fun at your house with Attie, MudCat and Gary. Ouch on the pulled chest muscle; weather does affect it. Feel better soon. Looking good for Attie with the AMPS.

That was a beautiful cycle last night. Hope Atlas has another one today :-D

This mornings summit went well, although one delegate from the land of Mud was not present.
It seems she needed more beauty rest.

i think the mudcat is messy with a close-to-blind Attie! "woo-hoo, let's stand still and let Attie look for us!" sounds like Attie needs glasses.

Thanks for the water-bottle tip, Beth. I took one out with us a while ago, but Shadow didn't make an appearance. I'm keeping it by the door so as not to forget it when we go out.

Wow on your river. Here the walkway along the Saranac River was under 6 inches of water 2 days ago, but now the water has receded and is just even with the boardwalk.

Yes, it involves Easy Cheese... Gary went bonkers for it at the vets office. So now when he goes, which has been several times in the past month, he gets rewarded at the office with licking Easy Cheese off the vet techs. fingers. For Attie it can spike him up about 40 pts., but it doesn't seem to linger as an influence. So, until we don't need the summits, I think we're OK to use it to get the boys nose to nose and experiencing each other's company with a pleasurable reward.

that's too funny. i've never given my cats cheese, but could imagine they'd go for it! it's out there in treats and in some food, even, so cats must like it.

We often recommend Parmesan sprinkles on cat food for kitties who are being a bit finicky.

A little early on the preshot test, but we have a big thunderstorm moving in...and Attie is already hiding.... shot will be at regular time in 20 minutes...If I can find him :roll:
 
GO ATTIE!! What a nice day for him - sorry for the late night last night. Guess we have all been there.... nice numbers tonight too - not bad considering the storms and all - they must frighten Attie...

Loved the pictures. I was taken back by how much Gary looks like my eldest civvie - they could be twins. Looks like the summits are going well.

wow on the river, and the weather. quite the systems you have moving through there. I feel guilty looking at the setting sun here.
