Not too much company, Ann, but he is making up for it! I guess we will take another 1-drop reduction this evening, unless he soars, in which case he can take the reduction tomorrow morning. After the 43 at +5.5 he got Canidae Pure Elements (9%) for lunch. I thought that would suffice, but when I tested him at +7 he had gone into the 30s (auto reduction territory). At that point he got a little FF T&G with a drop of Karo. Then we had to go to the landfill (which we found to be closed for Good Friday!) and when we got back and tested him again, he was on the way up and probably just at, or past, the time of his "normal" nadir. I hope the reduction will bring the whole range up a bit. I only have one can of Canidae left and can't get it here in the country. He really seems to like it, so I guess I should have bought more when we were in NYC. The only time I ordered it online, they sent me the old formula (called Felidae), which had fish in it (Rusty is allergic to fish), so I don't want to take a chance of getting the wrong food again.

We are remembering Mannie today. What a terrific kitty he was, and so much fun. Michelle's remembrance of him is just wonderful.

Continuing to keep Pat, her DH, and Raja in our thoughts.

Wishing all a good evening and a lovely Easter Weekend. We are having friends over for Easter dinner and I am cooking. Got some shopping to do!

WOW! Rusty really means business today. :shock: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :cool: Good luck on this reduction - he's been keeping you on your toes a lot later.

I think Neko might have briefly seen Rusty in the lagoon in the wee hours, but she's resting on shore now. Maybe later.

Have a great day - Easter dinner sounds fun. I've got to make sure I have ingredients for hot cross buns.

Yowza!! :shock: :shock: Rusty is indeed making a big, if lonely, splash in the lagoon today. Jeesh. Tillie is feeling optimistic about the chair. :lol:

Nice greens for Rusty today. Congrats on the reducie. I'm glad Rusty's congestion is better today.

Oh boy Rusty, you got me a bit nervous. Congratulations on the reduction!

Hi again, Rusty got his 1-drop reduction to what I am calling a fat 1.25 units (2.00mm on the digital calipers, Terumo syringe). I hope he can hold it. He was only on the skinny 1.5 units for 4 cycles. He ate well this evening, always saving some for later. He sat with us at the table for a little while, too. Now we are sitting on the couch watching the Mets game and visiting condos.

For Easter dinner I am making a torta di spinachi from a recipe that I found in the NY Times about 40 years ago. It is an elegant spinach, smoked pork, ricotta and eggs pie and is delicious. I haven't made it in years and just came across the recipe a few days ago.

Rusty, lagoon visits are nice, but you don't have to be so dramatic about it. Let's try for some shallower swims tonight, okay. No need to jump into the deep end!

Gee, Rusty. You really didn't give this dose a chance to see if you would like it or not. Didn't anyone ever tell you not to make snap judgements? Well, I see you really meant it - you're having a moonlight dip! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Cinco will probably skip this one - maybe you two can rendezvous at the lagoon tomorrow. Surf safely!
