i got up a little early this morning and punkin has been letting me know i'm messing with his schedule. if i'm up then it's breakfast time, right? so he's been talking to me about my responsibilities here!

other than cranky for not being fed right away, he seems fine and happy. i just watched him do a 2 second bath of his shoulder and am wondering how he ever got the middle of his back clean anyway. that's the last part that still looks oily.

I'm glad that he took a long bath :lol:

I was so sad when Enana got sick and seeing her beautiful fur all oily and matted. She's all like new again

we're having a super day - i got an almost 2 mile walk in out on the bike path (wild undeveloped land) that was great. it's been sunny, birds tweeting, geese honking overhead and not too many beans. when i got back punkin was giving me The Look that said "hey, it's +3. where's my breakfast?"

I put down 1/2 can of turkey for anya in the laundry room and 1/2 can of chicken for punkin. he was crazily slurping it down and anya wouldn't touch hers (i've been thinking she doesn't seem to like the turkey and he'll eat anything) and so i swapped their bowls. punkin looked at me like i was a traitor, stopped eating and when i opened the laundry room door for him to finish hers, SHE'D EATEN ALL OF IT. i felt slightly scummy, but then he recovered and went and ate the turkey.

ah the old fuds switch - :lol: :lol: love it. What they put us through....

Nice on your weather - we see to under a patch of rain - everyone else has sun, we have rain. I hope it decides to leave soon. The walk sounds nice too - I am about to head on out to do the same, down to the shore here.

Poor Punkin, having to wait a little bit for his food! That is probably why he had a yellow number this morning. When Simon gets upset about something (usually food), his bg always is higher.

I was just writing Michelle/Mannie to tell her I am so jeolous of all her great hiking areas and the unspoiled places near her. Now I am doubly jeolous reading about your hike!

What a beautiful day for Punkin!!! Hope he continues into the night. Your walk sounds wonderful...glad you could get out and be in nature!!
