Luci visited the lagoon yet again yesterday! It always surprises me when she actually gets there from her yellow tree! She seems quite content with herself.

I took a little time at my lunchbreak yesterday to go out with DH to our pond (of sorts)...and look what we saw there. There were two of them...we rarely see these roseate spoonbills...beautiful birds! I thought of @Judy and Boomer :)

No, it's not our backyard unfortunately ... but it is a pond that is in our complex...when we're in Florida we live in a multi-unit gated community with a paved trail that surrounds our properties - so it's a community pond I guess you could say - there are park benches out there along side for everyone who walks along the trail to sit and take a break and watch the birds that come and go...there are lots of interesting big birds that visit regularly...it's lovely to sit and watch the activities :)
