Happy Hump Day. Sending caring thoughts and healing vines to all who need them today.

Tough night for Gracie and Mike.....about +4, something....probably a bobcat, hit the screen on the catio. Gracie came flying in the house...all puffed up, eyes like saucers (well, they are like saucers anyway ;-) but this time BIG saucers). She flew into our room and into her condo and was shaking and really scared. She kept her eye on the door like some monster was going to come through it and she wouldn't eat at first. She finally calmed down and Mike got her to eat...we wonder if the 91 and 111 numbers from last night were adrenalin causing her BG to go up because she'd been really flat all night and returned to that same ballpark number by +9. Mike got up and fed her a little bit at +9 which she promptly threw up .....hairball. He waited a bit and refed her and she was ok. She still acted scared so I walked her through the house to show her all was ok and she calmed down. She's still alert this morning but at least moving through the house without being afraid. Poor baby girl!!

Wishing everyone a great day....I'm headed for TBP and I hope Mike can find a half hour for a nappus.

Hi guys .. awww poor gracie girl! It isn't fair that mean ol' bobcat scared her .. Glad you showed her that her home is safe and she started calming down .. it sure is a nice amps by the way! Have a great day guys!

DH here - looks like she is bouncing a little. Either from the low numbers yesterday afternoon, or whatever scared her last night, or whatever reason she has selected and not told us about :lol:

Good evening....mama is home...Gracie and Tobey both are still a little cautious about the catio....sure wish I knew what they saw last night.

hey mike, it could be option D - all of the above! did you get a nap in? sounds like the catio incident was scary - if a bobcat were after me, i'd run for mom & dad too. i had a mountain lion run into the side of my car at night on I-5 one time - that was scary. they're very big cats.

have i mentioned that gracie's numbers are sure looking great this week! not today, but all week!

Oh, Gracie, that must have been quite a scare. You are lucky that you have your mamabean and papabean to protect you (and Tobey, too, your big, brave brother). Nice PMPS and it looks like a good cycle coming up tonight.

Jeesh, that would scare me too. My DBiL saw a huge bobcat walking right in front of their house last year. :shock: Poor little Princess. Way to get back to bidness, Gracie.

Wow, a bobcat and still AMPS of 88! :shock: Gracie you are very, very brave little girl...and you have great mama bean and papa bean to keep you safe :cool:

oh wow - poor Gracie. Bobcat maybe huh. No wonder she was so scared. poor little Gracie. I hope she's feeling better now, not afraid anymore. it is never fun when they are so frightened, God tink I think that you showed her all was OK in the house.

Sure looks like a nice run on BG's for Gracie - and a reduction too! Very nice Gracie - keep those greens coming! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

A bobcat! :o holy cow. Poor Gracie. It looks like she's over her fright, if her numbers tonight are any indication. Lovely!
