Yesterday evening Bella stole a big chunk of butter: she grabbed a wrapped pack of butter from the counter and took it down to the floor, and ate through it. I would say she ate about one or 2 tablespoons of it. She was fine yesterday night but seems not too well this morning. She came downstairs late and slowly, usually she runs down the stairs and begs for food. She did not want to eat, I gave her some canned food and parmesan and she ate that, so I gave her her shot. Now she is laying down and watching me. I guess she feels nauseous.
 
She refused her +2 meal again. I gave her more of the Tiki can, with warm water, and she ate that. She looks unwell, maybe nauseous. My daughter said she bets she feels like we do the day after Thanksgiving. Too much fat. I'll watch her but other than that, she is OK, awake, moving. She did not use her litter box yet.
 
Hi Cecile, I hope Bella starts to feel better ,I'm glad you got her to eat.
Probably all that butter made her feel nauseous.
Boy she really is a little thief isn't she.
Can't leave anything on the counter with her can you .

Yes, she is. She was not before being diabetic.
She's getting higher and higher, but she seems better, she came to the fridge and asked for food, I did not hear her all day before that. She talks so much usually, it's weird whenever she is silent (usually the first few days after I come back from being away, or when she is sick). And she ate her regular food.
I hope she's fine by tomorrow, I willbe gone all morning, from +1 to +6, and again at night from shot time (need to shoot one hour early) to +3.
 
Down to 95 and back to normal behavior by PMPS, including stealing :banghead: I had left the butter in a dish with a plate on top of it, and she jumped again, knocked the plate down and was going to eat some again. My son heard the noise and stoped her, but what's wrong with that cat? I think she decided she wants a mono-diet of butter.
She ate everything and is asking for more, so at least she must feel better!
Here she is when I came back with my daughter. And the plate that Lucas weighed down with some stuff. She also grabbed the bread and was trying to eat some.

She's cute. She is completely back to normal and more, crazy for food and running as soon as someone is in the kitchen. I am feeling more relaxed now to leave her tomorrow morning, but I will be sure to hide everything that can be eaten!
 
Hi Cecile , Bella is one determined kitty. She's too funny. She looks pissed off in that pic lol. I'm so glad she's back to normal . She's a little gavone lol
