Didn't catch it this morning, but will definitely switch back to the non compounded Vetmedin this afternoon to see if the compounded form is causing the recent blood sugar spikes.

Smudge is generally looking better than when he started! I hope you figure out the recent spikes...keep on doing what you're doing! Great job with the tests!

Was the compounded Vetmedin a liquid? I know the powder I gave was foul tasting and needed to be put in a gel cap.

Nope, compounded into a tiny tablet instead of the larger chew-able tablet. I'd be scratched if I had to try and give her liquid meds.
