see, good numbers again come weekend time. :)

but we won't be home too much this weekend so if our absence is what causes the higher numbers during the week, we should see some higher weekend numbers this weekend right. :lol: fiance's riding today, i'm gonna do my errand shopping 'cause tomorrow we're gonna go to the big pet expo they have out here once a year

I would be curious Cindy,what mousies spread sheet looked like on the other insulin. The one you have linked is just for lantus, right? Is mousie responding much better to the lantus?

Hope you have a great weekend - are you an exhibitor or participant of the pet expo?

Hi Cindy,
I was looking at Mousie's pictures on the Friday Five post on PZI and I just have one queston. Do you carry a camera around your neck? :lol: You always have the best, most candid photos/videos of your kitties. When I grab the camera, my kitties immediately stop being cute and go "Oh Look, Mom has a camera!"

Hope Mousie continues to get good numbers, even during the week!

looking good.

i've been out getting groceries and such for the last 3+ hours so obviously not effecting her BG. having a snack and then have to make a run to the shelter with a load of dog food then i should be home the rest of the day doing chores.....i think

we're just spectators at the pet expo. and it's huge! to walk around the whole thing we'll be there probably 4-5 hours i'd say. which reminds me, gotta charge those camera batteries! LOL!!

and yes, i carry my camera everywhere with me. you never know when you will see something neat :-D

oh and as far as when she was on pzi. i only kept a ringbinder full of numbers charts. never did a spreadsheet on pzi. her pre-shot numbers on pzi were usually 150-200 and a peak at about +6 to +7 down around 60-70 and back up. stress inducing stuff like earthquakes or the doorbell could give us a 300+ number once in a while too.

so yeah i suppose one could say that in the last couple weeks her numbers are better on lantus than they were on the pzi. the best thing i like about it is her numbers aren't so much like a V but more like a ~ or ---

pmps is in about 40 minutes. we are exhausted as we've been up and running since 5:30 this morning so i gotta make myself sit here at the computer for 40 minutes 'cause if i go to the living room, i'll be asleep in seconds. LOL!! i know, i'll toss together a load of laundry to kill some time.

the expo was fantastic of course. something struck us very odd though, there weren't near as many cats there this year. a lot of vendors selling cat stuff but not as many cats themselves. i did pet my first hairless cat (can't remember what kind, but like Steve's Jock) and oh my they were the cutest ones at the expo. the one i petted felt like a peach. LOL!! that's the best way i can describe it.

oh, and not as many giveaways for sure. they had samples but most places were "free samples with any donation" type of thing and honestly, as a business owner and with the current economic state, we totally understood.

we did see llamas, pot bellied pigs, hundreds and hundreds of dogs, deer, horses, rats, a bobcat, reptiles of all sorts and sizes, cats of course, some odd birds, a miniature kangaroo looking thing, a sloth(?), some wierd looking chicken things that had long bald necks (i've got pictures), and probably about 20,000 humans

oh, and the german sheperd rescue group involved with the recently rescued dog called Courage (been in the news a lot out here the last week or so) had two displays and boy oh boy did they have the information on the arrested suspect out there in full view so everyone could know who she was. (it's a real sad story so i won't go into detail here but you can google about it and find it i'm sure. oh, and so far the dog is doing good so that's a plus)

ok, only 30 minutes to kill now :-D

uh yeah......LOL! just happened to wake up.....on the couch in the living room and almost went right upstairs to bed but figured WTH, might as well test the cat

she's eating now and i will test her again shortly :roll:
 
Wow, great night for Mousie! :-D

The Pet Expo sounds really interesting. I can't believe the variety of animals they had there! Glad you were able to go and not have to worry about Mousie while you were gone, just when you came back. ;-)
