YAY! What a great day yesterday for Mannie: Great blue cycle in the morning with a slight touch of yellow, followed by a terrific PM cycle that went green by +3 and stayed there for most of the night. I did need to feed him some HC to keep his numbers above 50, but not for too long. Most of the cycle was handled with a LC/MC combo. We start out today with a mid level blue, not bad at all, and I hope that we don't see a bounce. This dose seems to really be a good one for Mannie. Way to go Nanner King! cat_pet_icon

The boy is tired this AM. I left him his nanner pile last night after the +8 test, and found him still there this morning. I had to wake him for test. :roll: Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club status maintained. No fuds dance this morning though, just lots of "hurry up" meows. Auto feeder was even used: twice! :shock: : HOORAY! Maybe we may yet win that war, maybe. He was so patient with all those pokes last night: purred for each one, not too many sighs, nanners sought ought after each one. What a trooper! We are supposed to have a sunny day today, but I think someone forgot to the tell the weather gods. It's raining with snow mixed in . The nanner king took one look at that and went and snuggled down in his bed. 'Nuf said, and normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great Sunday everyone. I hope for a relaxed one, with a walk to the shoreline later on. Maybe by then the sun will be out.

My friends!!! Guess what!!! A full moon is coming! We need to plan - a party!! It is called the pink moon :shock: :shock: :shock: and the fish moon, and the planters moon, and the egg moon, and the sprouting green grass moon.... Oh so you did have a pajama party last night. What a great cycle yesterday. Great he's using the feeder. I know many times the weatherman gets our rain forecast wrong. We had 85 degrees yesterday; I hope it will cooler today. Did you say snow, yikes!

Count me in for celebrating the Full Fish Moon! Anything for a party and some fuds! Maggie

Looks like it was a PJ party for you and Mannie last night, but what a lovely night! And today Mannie is starting off very nice.

Hi Ann and Maggie - oh yes on the PJ party. for me that +8 is a killer.... and I do feel it the next day. major zzzzzzzzzz..... that auto feeder today cracked me up. he usually ignores it, big time. not today... he couldn't wait for it to open. :shock: and yes - rain with a snow mix - didn't last long, but wow... it is mid april!! we never get snow in the lowlands here in april..... so weird!

That darn bounce must be the moon in action...Attie did a similar leap for his +9.

Mannie, I gots the fishin' poles and nets. Talked to a fisherman and he says them trouts hold up at night by the river island. So I even has a fishin' spot on a hot tip. Hi Maria - yep, it was quite the night. I did make it to the shoreline - very nice walk there this morning. It is getting closer t our low tide season, during the day, which can make for some very nice shoreline walks.

Hi Beth - I like the theory that the full moon brought them up.... darn it - Mannie was looking good to... the link to that fishing spot was very interesting. Looks like there is mighty fine fishing there.

Attie - dude - that is so great!! I gots lots of wigglers too! we are so wet here that they are everywhere!! I hope your fishies like our wormies.... I have this APP on my phone for full moons, and it has it on both days... :shock: when I researched it a little more I discovered that it is on 4/18 @ 4.44AM. so - it is technically tomorrow, but one will see it through the late evening early morning hours tonight. Seems like today was the day for the kitties to party....

Hi Christie - yep - I like this dose, Not too sure why he went up at that +11, short of he usually does, just Mannie being Mannie I guess. and yes :lol: he was tuckered out. he did recover soon enough, made sure he got outside during the sunny parts. He came in mid afternoon and was all warm form the sun - dang it felt nice... What was a rainy morning here turned out not to be too bad by afternoon...

Thanks for your support tonight...what a night...what a week. Four reductions in a week nailbite_smile nailbite_smile Gracie said she was just hoping Libby would say the famous "how about starting an OTJ trial?". I told her she had to quit doing the "b" word first......AND hold her reduction.

HI Marje - nice night for your girl. She's well on her way to "you know what". but true on the "B" word. she need steady as she goes, but she is very close to that. and yes - the boy has been re-energized: all it took was an afternoon of sun and he is ready to go.
