Good Morning World! Welcome to our home! Yesterday

AMPS 228

Not a bad AMPS for only getting .5 units last night!!!! He took a dive yesterday afternoon, handing me a 57 at +10! I struggled to get him up even enough to shoot - it was propped up with food so I did sleep tests last night...yaaaawn. He's hollering for salad again this morning....

Prayer request this morning for my 6 month old great-granddaughter, Laila. For some reason, she has cataracts on both eyes and can hardly see anything more than bright light. They're doing surgery to remove the left one today, taking out the right one next week or so. She'll wear heavy glasses until she's 3-4 years old. At that time, they'll do more surgery to put in an artificial lens on each eye. This type of surgery is awful for an adult, poor baby's gotta live thru it at just months old THEN have to wear glasses as a baby. Mama is SO worried, Great-Grams is too....

All else is well here! Storms coming again...hopefully we'll not see hail to beat down my tomato plants!

BIG HUGS to all that visit today - special thoughts and prayers for Jennifer/DCIN as she deals with her kitty shaped hole in her heart. Fly free sweet boy....

Sending prayers right away for your little baby great granddaughter. What a terrible thing for a baby to have to go through. Sending additonal prayers for her surgery today and for the whole family.

I hope there are gorgeous numbers for you today. Truly that's a nice amps with a tiny little bounce. Now you can't just pick those pretty flowers, you have to pick some nice grass for the kitty :lol:

Sending lots and lots of prayers, surgery and quick healing vines for DGGD. and lots of calm and ok vines for mom and you! Bless her little baby heart! The good thing is they can do this kind of repair now. But that doesn't make it any less stressful for her or her family. Will be waiting for an update on how today goes.

Looking for nice numbers for KT today.

Sending prayers and loads of healing vines for your little GGBaby. What a thing for such a little one to have to go through, but remember, eventually she will get her implants, and see clear and beautifully.
 
Hi Lyresa - oh poor girl - we are sending prayers for her that the surgery goes well. What a tough burden for such a little girl. Hopefully she won't remember a thing when she gets older and her new vision will be perfect after the implants.

:shock: I've got to do that surgery.... some year.... Everyone I know keeps telling me it's nothing .... to not worry about it.... nailbite_smile ... Yikes....
 
Lyresa, we are sending lots and lots of vines and prayers for your DGGD's surgery. I hope that it will go well and I'm pretty sure that she won't mind wearing glasses: she'll just accept them as a fact of life. And when she's old enough, she'll have new eyes.

KT, your mamabean wants to see less bouncing around. You can do it!

Many hugs and prayers for your great granddaughter. She is so young for surgery and I'm sure you are worried.
I hope she will do very well. And in the future after her new lenses are placed, I'm sure she will be grateful for how well her parents and doctors took care of her eyesight.
 
Hugs and prayers to your DGGD! Children are so resilient, and doctors can perform such amazing things each day, but prayers are always a help too :smile:
 
Gardens of vines to Laila - hope the procedure goes smoothly and she recovers quickly. KT you be good! Mamabean doesn't need anything more to worry about, ok?
