Bouncy girl this morning but Lord only knows when she last spent most of the day in the blues and greens without of the roller coaster ride of N. Plus she decided to drop fast yesterday by +3 she was 63, by +3.5 she was 48 so I dumped gravy food in front of her and shut her in her kennel because I HAD to get to Walmart for Strips.

Now that she's a confirmed fan of canned food I highly doubt she's going to go home on insulin :-D

Hmm now I don't know if I should hold at .25u or try her on an OTJ trial. Hate those screaming fast drops because they have to be triggering major bounces. Guess I'll play it by ear depending on where she tests out the rest of today. But she sure looks good right now rolling in the grass with Autumn while Cassanova works on his tan.

And here comes the bounce. At least for now she's still hanging onto the edge of the pool.

You are doing such an amazing job with her! How incredible would that be if you could give her back to her papa no longer needing insulin! :smile:

She's been here a little over 3 weeks and the changes in her have been amazing. Not only has her personality sweetened up. But her eyes are clear and bright, her coat is starting to shine and she's back up on her toes. She even trots around the house now instead of just laying on her little bed. She still has her occasional psycho moments but they are getting fewer and fewer.

Even if she's still on insulin when she goes home (which I doubt she will be) he'll be getting back a girl he probably hasn't seen in years. Those first few weeks were rough but were so worth it.
